Intersting, I wonder what the significance of the feather that he buried at the grave. also why wouldn't kagome just stay at the slayers village? It's obvious they know exactly who she is, respect her and would welcome her there. I guess I don't see why she feels compelled to stay w sess esp since she feels so unwelcome there. She has a strong connection through sango, miroku, kohaku and Rin too. Thanks for the update!

Good chapter. It was much needed time apart for the both of them. Now that Kagome has finally said her goodbyes to Inuyasha, she can move on with her life. Sesshomaru, as intelligent as he is, is still a youkai and has to reign in his instincts if he wants to be civil. Somehow Kagome always pushes him to his limit, which is why they make a great pairing. Looking forward to their developing relationship. Is there going to be any action/adventure in this story? I somehow like the mellow romance only in this story.

Sesshoumaru still doesn't know what to do about the feelings that Kagome awakes in him and is trying to ignore them with all his might. On the other hand, it's good that Kagome is developing some sense of normalcy in her life again, although I think she should be more aware of her surroundings and state of dress (or undress) when relaxing. I'm dying to see her reaction when she does. Great chapter.

I am glad for the updates when I see them so please hurry with more I absolutely love it.

YOU POSTED AGAIN!!!! You just can't resist posting once it's written, huh? That's good to me either way. Now on to the story.....

When will Kagome notice she naked as a Jay Bird????(That's supposing that Jay birds are actually naked! It's an old saying from where I'm from. Many of the baby boomers should know it)  It just goes to show that when you want privacy, be sure to keep your clothes on! And of course the little hentai inu couldn't respect her indecency and turn and walk away...shame Sesshoumaru...Sit Boy! OH, hm, that was InuYasha's down phrase. She's gonna have to put a leash on this guy pretty soon if he keeps this up. Up....yeah, he's keeping something up alright. (Bad girl, keep the mind out of the gutter) Look at what Sesshoumaru is doing to me...I turning into a hentai!

Well, at least while he was away he got to do some heavy thinking. I have to wonder though, will he still be able to talk to her after seeing her full on naked in the sun? It seems his mind was doing some very good referencing for later as he gazed upon her sleeping naked. I know she'll still want to discuss things as even though Kagome embarasses herself, she always finds a way to make things right. OH and I know the feather has a meaning but I forgot what it is...care to tell me?

I'm glad Kagome took the inititive to leave and visit Edo and the Slayer's Villages. She has to start somewhere to learn to stand on her own two feet again and if Sesshoumaru is going to up and leave without telling her, then she needs to occupy her own time doing the things she used to do that made her feel of use and wanted. I understand she is beginning to love Sesshoumaru even though he scares the crap out of her sometimes, but she can't just sit there clinging to emptiness. She spent waaay too long waiting for InuYasha to grow up enough to realize that he loved Kagome in a way different from Kikyou and that it was okay for him to have a life without Kikyou. InuYasha hurt Kagome over and again through the Kikyou years and she doesn't need to do this with Sesshoumaru. He may make her feel safe when he's there even though he won't speak to her, but Kagome is a strong person. By now she needs to corner the taiyoukai somehow and pinpoint him in telling her what is going on with him. Maybe she needs to tell him how she's been feeling to start off the conversation.

Oh and I've just got to put this one out there...Ah-Un is going to have some serious bowel problems eating all those ripened plums. They work just like prunes! Poor beast!

Oh and I just love how Michi clung to Kagome leg as she was going for a walk to river and Kagome just kept going like it was nothing. My daughter PJ and I had sooo many kittens a few years back as 4 of our cats gave birth from the same male cat. PJ says he was making his own harem, one litter at a time...But she would go out to feed them and she's have 2 legs full of kittens scrambling up to get to the food first. It was a good thing it was still cold enough to wear heavy jeans and a jacket or her body would have been torn up. I just looked out the back door and laughed at them. They're the cutest when they just learn to climb.   KISSES!!!!  JEN

Excelente chapters. It's interesting to see how Sesshoumaru tries to fight his attraction to Kagome, but how does he expect her to know her place and keep boundaries if he doesn't keep his own? It seems to me that he wants to make her hate him and not want to approach him for any reason, in order to facilitate him to keep his distance, but he doesn't resist to provoke her and when Kagome retaliates he cannot help trying to subdue her, what nullifies everything he's trying to accomplish. Really, he's doing a great job, considering that his actions only makes him to think more about her.

You know, it's nice that the 2 female youkai housekeepers are nice to Kagome and that when they are around she has someone to talk to but Sesshoumaru still hasn't talked to her at all. He wants her to know her place and keep boundaries but he hasn't even taken one day to say anything to her. Instead he gives orders to the housekeepers and leaves her to her own devices.

I'd like to know what he expected her to do? He knew she was an inquisitive woman and that she had quite an opinionated tongue. I think he just thought if she and he could stay apart he wouldn't have to deal with her or what he did to her. I don't care that she responded to his advances, she was grieving and things get out of hand when you aren't in your right state of mind. He made her feel things that she had desperately missed sharing with her husband and he bought those bodily feelings out when he touched her, not that she intended to respond because a woman's body will betray her under certain circumstances.

Sesshoumaru knew in advance that she was coming to look for him. He said it himself and he knew that she had seen InuYasha do the same thing with Kikyou and knew how much it hurt her. What did he expect her do do. He must have also knew after all those months that she was beginning to have feelings for him. Kagome wears her emotions practically on her sleeve and if he can sense her ever changing moods and emotions then he knew what him rutting with a female youkai not all that far from the house would do to he. How cold and cruel...and cowardly. Then he has neve to attack her rather harshly when she gets angry. She did a good job tying to keep herself in check but that wasn't enough, he just had to twist the the provebial knife and expect her to keep her mouth shut and famous tempe in check? He desreved to get burned and maybe now he'll see he's not going to get her to accept his rudeness and disrespect for her feelings. She is a living being and whether he like it or not they are family and she's tying to accept his distance but he needs to try to to be civil and she only wishes to talk with him and find an equal balance betwwen them. Kagome is a good negotiator like Miroku when she wants to. But he didn't have to flaunt his dalliance in her face whether she saw it or not just the sounds she heard gave her enough cause to know he was doing this knowing she could feel his presence.  JEN

I really am glad Sesshoumaru has taken time to think about his brother and what was asked of him and what he may have done to his brother's widow so soon after his death, but he left her there for practically a week before sending AhUn. He knew she would need food alot sooner. Maybe he thought pehaps she's just get herself down and go home and leave him alone now that this "thing' between them happened.

He could have just manned up and gone back to get her out of the cave and explained why this was a mistake, but given his attitude it would be beyond him to explain anything, let alone his feelings. He is definitely staying true to his character. Got to say it was nice to finally send AhUn to help her get down.

 It said the house was one that he used to go to with Rin in the winter. Does he have a Shiro and Fotress where he keeps his army and does his political business? Just curious.

I also like that Kagome was still friends with Sango and Miroku's decendents and they gave her one of Kilala's kittens to keep her company. Does she turn into a firecat too? I guess that she's have to grow some before she could do that though. Well, at least she'll have the kitty and AhUn to keep her company since Sesshoumaru seems to think he can stay away from her, but knowing Kagome, he's going to learn that humans crave companionship other than animals. After living in the future with so many things to keep her entertained and busy so she can feel fulfilled and living in Edo with InuYasha, Kaede, Sango and Miroku and little Shippo plus having the villagers there who she could help with healing and midwifing with Kaede. Even after her friends died and moved on she still had their offspring and InuYasha. But with everyone moving on and losing Inu, I really feel for her.

Wow! great chapter, so full of intesity and passion. Sesshomaru is a bad dog who deserved to get burn. Hmmph! Kagome is falling in love or lust with him, and he doesn't know what he wants yet, but I get a feeling he wants her goodies, will she give in to him...?

This chapter was very descriptive and lovely, it gave more insight into what each character is feeling. Sesshomaru is afraid of falling for a human woman whom he claims he despises. And Kagome is just trying to survive, loved that you gave her a Kirara mini-me.

Naughty. A very conflicted Sessh in this chapter, serve him right for being haugty. I hope Kagome uses her experience as a mature woman to pull the rug from under his feet eventually.

I cannot see her agreeing with his advances, the woman is in mourning, get a grip Sesshomau!

Well well, some progress here. Inuyasha reaching out to his brother before dying, I can see him doing that especially if he wanted Sesshomaru to

protect Kagome. And you know what I believe that Sesshomarue really loved his brother in spite of the bad history they had, but in the end they'd

worked together to defeat Naraku and he'd changed for the better. I wonder how he plans on taking care of Kagome, he can be very

unpredictable at times and spiiteful.

I am simply reviewing every chapter, read them already without signing in and couldn't leave a review. the story is flowing nicely and timely. I feel so awful for Kagome, and Sesshomau is just being himself. I suppose after living in seclusion he has not changed much. I hope he helps her through her depression because Inuyasha is the only sibling he had, and I know he cared about him.

Love the new story, full of so much emotions already, I know its going to be great. I must admit that i was a little curious about Kagome not aging until her real time catches up with her, no one really knows how time travel actually works and a whole lot of possibilities exist, very nice.

I felt bad that Kagome lost Inuyasha to old age, but i figure that as a half demon he would age and dies as well. This story is very refreshing, not many stories that i have read portray Inuyasha kindly. He and Kagome really loved each other and I am glad that at least although not expound upon it is implied that she loved him dearly and is grieving over him.
