Let me get this straight. Ko is the re-incarnated Kazu while Chizu is the mother Natsu. So once again Kagome is between a rock and a hard place. I feel it for Sesshomaru. Nice work in tying the story together. Great story, keep going.

PS. I wonder if Sesshomaru will listen to his mother and stay put. She has a point though. If he goes to rescue Kagome in poor health he might put himself as well as Kagome in grave danger. I am rooting for the mom!

Tttt! I understand Ko's disillusionment about his time with Kagome, wating and wanting her. But I believe he is taking things way too far. Kagome was wrong in bedding him just to feel good about herself because she was having a hard time with Sesshomaru, but I believe he knew as well that it was just a one nighter. He needs to get a grip on reality. The tale of the priestess and the island is intriguing. I have a bad feeling about how all this will end.

Interesting turn of events. I love how you can weave a tale leaving us readers flabbergasted. Had no idea the story would go that way. The story is refreshing, a nice change from the usual plots. Keep up the good work!

Wow, what a surprise. So, Chizu's body is housing the blackened spirit of a fallen godess who survives devouring the souls of other young women?  Now I have an idea of how those poor girls who Ko was "trying to heal" really died. What a sad fate. But I do not understand how the barrier around the island still remains so pure while her soul is black. I know that it was created before she sacrificed her soul, but still it needs her energy to keep strong. Does this have anything to do with the fact that Ko is not still totally evil? Because he's surely and slowly getting there, which I think will gradually weaken the barrier. This fic is getting better and better, good work.

Poor Kagome, I hope Sesshomaru come save her quickly, keep it coming.

So Ko things of punishing Kagome making her suffer as much as he for a lost love. He knows he have no chance of having her love but still persists in a doomed marriage that can only end badly, making him a bitter and malicious person. i hope that Sesshoumaru can stop him in time, otherwise he will have a big problem with which to deal. If a mortal turned god did not work once ...

Darn!  At first I thought that guy was actually thinking about letting her go but then he tells her she's still marrying him. I hope sesshomaru finds a way to save her before she has to marry that dude.

I honestly was not expecting the story to take this direction! but it sounds intriguing for sure! hope RL doesnt get you down too much :)

You know, sometimes I feel bad for Ko. He really seems to love Kagome, though in a selfish way. And I know that if you love someone is very hard to let go. That's why I love your stories so much; you work with the emotions of the characters involved and they are not fully malignant. Great job.

WoW!  OMJ! Whats going to happen next.  Grrrr.  I have to wait some more.   

What a unexpected turn of events. after hearing Kagome's confession, Sesshoumaru managed to mate her, even though she knows nothing about it. Now, when he heals, he gained immunity to pass through the barrier without being so weakened and rescue her. Wouldn't it be great too if Kagome gained some of Sesshoumaru's power to keep Ko at bay until Sesshoumaru comes? He totally deserves. This story is getting even more interesting. Great chapter.

WoooHoooo!!!! Sesshou heard what Kagome had said!!!! Yes, Yes, Yes!!! Way to go, Sesshoumaru!!! He mated her and took in her blood and he exchanged his blood with her by biting himself and kissing her! Great idea for a practically dying youkai! No matter what, Sesshoumaru always has a strategy planned and this time, it only took for Kagome saying she wished she could do something to protect him from the barrier was all he needed.

So I'm going to assume again on this act. The exchanging of blood will bind them, or bind them enough that Sesshou will have an immunity to the spiritual power that Ko holds. Ko said to Kagome that they were the same and if that barrier is of his doing and it doesn't harm Kagome, then mating Kagome will aid Sesshou to get back to her and rescue her.

Now, I know Kagome made promises to Ko so she could give Sesshoumaru time to heal, but I can't see Ko as being a rapist. He may want Kagome and he thinks in time that she will come to love him, but it just doesn't seem right to me, at least, that he would try to take her too quickly after she just had to leave Sesshoumaru alone. To me, he's probably thinking that she being a miko/priestess will always keep her word/promise and he wouldn't need to go to such extremes to make her have sex with him. Kagome won't give herself to Ko so quickly because she just can't forget the love she has for Sesshoumaru. Hopefully this will give Sesshou the time he needs to recover and devise a plan to get to her before Ko makes her marry and consumate the marriage.

I also wanted you to know that you really are doing a great job with this, my friend. Whenever I get the chance to stay awake enough I can't help but look for your fic first. I can't tell you how much these last few chapters have made me. The thought and mind for plot twists is exceptional and I will be honest that it's these things that keep me hooked.

You know we all think that Sesshoumaru is totally impervious to spiritual power but I never thought that to be totally true. I think he can withstand a greater amount of purification than many youkai due to his breeding and strength, but he's not immune. Ko knew Sesshoumaru wouldn't leave Kagome behind and so he made sure to create a lethal barrier all around that island knowing that the longer Sessh was pushing forward, his amount of immunity would weaken until it killed him.

I also don't believe that Ko, alone, could keep that much spiritual power alive for such long periods of time. Now this could be one of 2 things. One he has other spiritual people helping him, or, he is living on a spiritual island like that of the mountain that Naraku had himself regenerating in. I can't spell the name of it, but Sesshoumaru got up into it and so did InuYasha but he couldn't stay there as long as Sessh. Jaken, Shippo and Kirara couldn't go at all. You know which one, right? Well that's my thought on this anyway.

OMG!! This chapter is absolutely brilliant. At first I didn't get it but I re-read the parts where Kagome was talking to Sesshomaru while he was unconscious, telling him how she truly felt and wanting him to rescue her. She also said that she wishes that there was a way that she could protect from the barrier, but sadly she couldn't think of a way.

Then the next paragragh explained Sesshomaru's thought process. He was thinking that he was still too weak but he could get it done. But get what done precisely. He also thought about her confession and what she wished. Then the next minute he was biting into her neck with glowing red eyes.

Ha-ha! fantastic stuff. Sesshomaru mated Kagome so that he could become immune to the barriers spiritual powers. Amazing twist. So now when he gets better he can go and rescue her. I only hope that she does not give into Ko's advances, because I dont think she understands what Sesshomaru had just done. Excellent chapter, waiting for the next one anxiously.

What a mess. Sesshomaru almost dying to save Kagome, and then the poor girl get trapped into making a decision to save his life. I cannot believe that Ko turned out to be such a sleaze bag.

Great chapter as usual, very painful to read but fascinating nonetheless.
