And the adventure and drama begins... I honestly didn't think that you'd let this one be a dream as it all seemed to real. Kagome woke with the resolve that what had happened, happened and she had put it in the past as something she needed to happen to hopefully wash away all the feelings and dread from this last year, but all it took was for one old friend to let her know that she was seen and that should others have seen she would be marked and her reputation sullied. (I hate the other words *shrugs*)

No matter what happened, I still can not hate Kagome. I am disappointed in her behavior but it takes two to start an arguement (um, many arguements *laughs*) and Sesshoumaru is just as equally wrong for what happened between them.

Kagome coming back to Sesshoumaru's house has taken a lot of courage. I can imagine the shock she'll feel at having Sesshoumaru attack her. She'll have to have known that he could smell what she had done upon her body and if she didn't stop to wash before going back. Did she do this with hope that maybe Sesshoumaru would attack and kill her, seeing as see cried in the forest that the Kami would let her die?

Kagome doesn't realize that Sesshoumaru had actually seen what she had done, but either way, Sesshoumaru's inner self will demand retribution and punisnment for what she's done. She may not really know it but he has claimed her a his even though they both deny their love and attraction. Like I've said before, I don't really see how they can get all this out in the open between them civilly. I just hope Sesshoumaru has enough control this time too to prevent his inner inu from killing her all together. As I've said in the past, this may be a Sess/Kag site but no one said that they had to always end up happily ever after... I am on the end of my seat waiting to see just how tightly he squeezes her pretty little neck for having the love bites from another man showing for anyone to see...  JEN

p.s.  I just love how intriguing you can keep these fics. Never a dull moment! (Oh and it was sweet that the guy she slept with left word that he'd like to see her again when come come back in a month. At least he wasn't just using her drunken state of being to get laid.)

In a small village like Edo, where everyone is somewhat familiar to all inhabitants, logic dictates that Kagome's little escapade would not be a secret for too long and that she would have to leave Edo for good or be labeled a slut, for it is what would happen in that era. I just think that she should have take some time alone to better sort her goals in life, instead of returning to Sesshoumaru's home so soon, even more knowing that he, with his sensitive nose, would scent her early activities and after being informed for Jun that he could be in love with her, it's obvious that things would not end well. Great chapter.

Wow! This is good! u made both character equally strong in pride. Yes, i dont see why kagome must follow yokai instinct when the other party does not conpromise her humanity traits. i hope kagome keep her mental strength high over whatever punishment or treatment seshoumaru deem fit. She is the shikon miko not some common priesties. 

i thought u will make kagome start wandering on her own instead of going back to seshoumaru home but its ok. Its ur story.  and its really a worthy cliffhanger there  >_<

Ok, if having sex with a man she has never met before actually happened and isn't some dream, I've got to say that Kagome is turning into someone that has absolutely no respect for herself any longer and doesn't care what happens to her.

On the day she had buried her husband and was totally lost in grief she found a way to stop Sesshoumaru from doing the deed. Again at the river when she challenged him with all the things she had to know was wrong, she stopped him once again from taking her body. Now, she gets herself drunk, in front of every one whose known her as a priestess, respectable, stable and strong and she lets some random dude with good looks take her to bed and have sex but not Sesshoumaru who she's professes to be in love with?

I know this is getting quite complicated and no one wants this drunken sex to have happen but maybe she needs to see that she's being a hypocrite where Sesshoumaru is concerned. She even had the housekeeper, Jun, tell her point blank that she heard their quarrels and she knows her Lord loves, LOVES Kagome and that maybe she should take the time to get to know him and what he's like.

Let this smack her in the face. I know she's not doing payback like Sessh did with the female youkai, but maybe after waking up and realizing that she just slept with a stranger, that this is not easily kept a secret from the townspeople and she essentially just tarnished her reputation and disrespected her husband's memorial, she'll come to grips with herself. She needs to go back to Sesshoumaru, if he's the one she really wants and get to know him, acknowlegde that maybe they both said and did things that were inappropriate but that she'd like to start over if he'd be willing. Oh and please don't let her get pregnant. In this era that would be hard to live down and so not fair to the child.    JEN

I think its good. Not as a payback but i want kagome to move on. Seshoumaru still have a big mountain of pride so waiting for him to understand his own feeling and surrender his pride would take a milennia.

So its better this way, let kagome go on her own, let her build herself without seshoumaru. Let her get a crutch from someone else.

Let her be a strong on her own so that finally seshoumaru see her worth. Maybe a century or two, but please give kagome some backbone.

Oh I really hope she's having a drunken wet dream coz her random one night stand is ruining the story for me!

How can Kagome judge Sesshomaru for following his instincts and being himself when here she's sleeping with someone she hadn't even been introduced to. I'm sorry to say that she seems to be very confusing in her actions. She acts all self rightous when he was screwing someone n here she's doing worse with a stranger no less. I almost feel sorry that Sesshomaru feels for her, coz she's just a hot mess.

Well, having drunken sex soon after her husband's memorial service is not a very nice way to pay respect to said husband, and I'm sure in the morning she will regret her actions. In her search to feel alive, it seems to me that Kagome is loosing herself along the way, only thinking about her needs and expecting everyone else to meet them without regard for anyone's feelings. She's being exactly  the contrary that she used to be. It's sad that Sesshoumaru is reaching a consensus with his feelings for her just now and wished to really talk to her about it, before seeing her with another man, and, by the way he thought about regreting any heed for her welfare, he lost some respect for her too. Great chapter.

I really hope Kagome realizes something.  Her behavior is not positive and her expectations that Sesshoumaru would behave like a guy from her original time is ludicrous.  The demoness was very right to say what she did, I wish she had taken it a little further.  She did the exact same thing with this other guy as she did with Sesshoumaru minus the comparing him to InuYasha, which I'm still mad at her for.  She's using someone to feel good and hide from reality.  I think InuYasha would be disappointed with her behavior and cowardice. 

He's gone, but life has to continue.  For someone who use to be so selfless, she's certainly learned how to make everything about her without any care to have thoughts of others' perspectives.  And now she's having random sex with someone who didn't even get named in the story after her husband's memorial service.  (sigh)  I almost feel sorry that this story will end up with Sesshoumaru having to settle for someone like her, with the way that she is a relationship with her may be more of a curse than a blessing.  I don't think I'll be able to continue reading this...

I am finding these two so infuriately entertaining that I can't help but want to pick on them. What happened to the adults here? They act more like children with each encounter only with adult actions.

I don't see how they are going to make this right civially when each time they get together they throw such nasty, hateful barbs to each other. Love? Any one think this is like that movie, "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" with Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt?, only on different playing fields?

Seriously, my friend, I love this! The drama and tension is exciting. I can't wait to see how you get them out of this. I vote for letting Sesshoumaru literally making her forget like she asked him too. Make her forget InuYasha, forget herself and her past and show her who she's gotten herself involved with. If she can stand being throw across the forest floor into a bush and almost being raped and still have it in her to run her mouth off to him then I say, let him give itto her. She seems to be able to handle it rough and she's proven to be a challenge and quite the fireball...let them have it and see what happens. I think they both just need to get laid!!! *laughs slyly*  JEN
