I was planning on reading all the way through before reviewing, but I couldn't wait.

This chapter was perfect. I loved the way the end of it tied the past to the future, and vise versa. It was seemless and effortless in its flow, and was quite easy to understand. I bow to you for making something as complicated as Kag's multiple time travels sound so easily explained.

Uh-oh. There's no way that comment will go unnoticed/unquestioned by Hisoka. I sense that revelations are forthcoming.

Also - I have never shipped an OC before, but I could easily find myself shipping Kagome/Hisoka. I LOVE Hisoka.

But the Inu no Taisho interrupting Sess and Kags playing hide & Seek? CLASSIC.

Oh my god...I've been so busy lately that I'm several chapters behind. But that just means that its like an extra present to get to read several at once. I swear my heart grew three sizes when I read this chapter. It was SO SO SO worth the wait. Sesshoumaru's stoicism is adorable and admirable and obviously we all love it, but you also manage to convey something terribly heartbreaking about it too. I love that Kagome was actually able to get him to play with her and I enjoyed the role reversal with her being capable and confident in a skill that Sess doesn't have and is so clearly, pardon the pun, out of his depth.

That Hisoka has been his sensei for 20 years and this is the first time he heard him laugh.... it just makes me so happy every time you post a new chapter.

My heart almost breaks for young!Sesshoumaru at the mere mention of losing Higurashi, but I'm sooo excited to see Kagome and Sesshoumaru interact in the feudal ear as well. It would be tragic if he lost her on his successful hunt, but Sess-mom said Sesshoumaru claimed her, so I'm thinking Kagome might be staying in the (distant)past a little longer? Regardless, this story never fails to entertain.

ooh, and finally it is revealed how Kagome will "disappear" with Hisoka.  Lots of interesting insight into Sesshoumaru's relationship with his father and his father's concerns re: his future in this chapter! I wonder if the disconcerted feeling by Taisho just before they departed was due to some other uncertain threat, or whether what he was sensing was that Kagome and Hisoka will disappear (tonight, or soon...)

Oh my GOD you are Killing me I was so excited at the end of that chapter need to run a few laps.  This was an amazing piece I will be on edge until the next chapter is written.  Please update soon Thanks for the extra long chapter it was a perfect treat to go to bed on!

Oooohhh... it's finally getting to THAT point!  I absolutely LOVE all the characters here; and this chapter gave some much needed and welcomed depth to Hisoka sensei.  I can't wait to read the next chapter.

OHOHOSNAP. I think this is absolutely one of my favorite chapters so far. So much depth and bonding here... My favorite parts were many, actually.

"She bathes with you?" Scandalized Hisoka-sensei? Epic.

InuPapa walking in and seeing his son playing Hide and Seek... up on the rafters, no less? Brilliant.

Implying that once my sexy Hisoka-sensei was a kitten? Glorious.

Kagome using a drastic anachronism that totally blows Hisoka-sensei out of the water? Hilarious.

Our little priestess using her amazing deduction skills to point out that the staff may be a gateway between eras? Potentially ominous; amazingly thought-provoking. The wheels of my meager mind starting spinning in overdrive.

I probably have literal stars sparkling in my eyes right about now. ;) Feed me moar prz Mama. <3

Ooooo..the plot thickens hehe ^_^  Great chapter as usual.  I can't wait to see what happens next!  It was nice to get some one-on-one time with Hisoka and Kagome.  I like the way they interact.  I especially like his nickname for her, hehe.  Thanks!  Keep up the good work!

I just wanted to leave you yet another review. This story is by far the best around. The last chapter took me by surprise. I look forward to every Friday to see what's new! And I love EVERY word of it!!! Hisoka is going to be the key to her return. I have it figured out now. But I love this chapter so much. To be caught playing hide 'n' seek by his father and Hisoka was a hoot! You've kept me enthralled by this enchanting story. It has all the best of childhood fairytales mixed with the wisdom and character development of an adult story. Everyone in it is very real and very easy to believe in, good or bad. Thank you for such an entertaining tale.

O_O THE ANSWERS! YAY! Now I now the how, but not that future moment entails. Haha I NEVER would have guess the staff, NEVER! *claps happily* Can't wait for the next chapter.

i really really really LOVE the way you portray inu no taishou.  so wise, but with much more emotions, like a regal form of inuyasha.  so perfect!  and now we're at the climax to where both time intersect!  can't wait for the next installment!
