Toss up if it's Sesshomaru's wife or his father responsible for the fire. I'm leaning more towards his dad being responsible, I mean, look at what he did to his own son and his wife hasn't done anything aggressive or harmful towards Kagome before despite everything. At this point, killing Kagome off would be a much more personally satisfying outcome than having her go back with Sesshomaru. I wonder what is going to happen with the ring, I believe it was still in the plant the last time it was mentioned!

So not liking his dad! How long before he thinks someone notices that he hasn't been seen for months? I also think Inuyasha acting like he's in charge when he doesn't know what the hell he's doing could effect the stock. 

Maybe now this will help Kagome understand that his life isn't as simple as she assumed. I really feel like she doesn't understand him and didn't really try to. 

I assumed at some point she would lash out at Kagome. Could he possibly feel her being close to death and waken his beast enough to escape to save her? I think it would be awesome if he did. He needs to challenge his dad as his alpha. Alphas should at least be interested in the well-being of those in their pack. Perhaps a peak into that interaction?

I'm really looking forward to seeing what you do with this.

Okay, lots happened since I've been away. After reading what I've missed twice , I can say that I'm somewhat annoyed with Sesshomaru. Yes, he's breaking up with his wife supposedly for himself to finally be "free" but he made that choice and asked Kagome to be his mistress so he could have his company that came with a wife  but also a lover on the side. I can't accept Kagome being remotely happy about Sesshomaru pursuing her again, because of what he did. I'm sort of feeding off of the bitterness I feel Kagome had when seeing Sesshomaru again. Trust is hard to build, easy to break and difficult to gain once broken and I think it'll take Kagome building a life for herself with a completely new love interest and Sesshomaru truly agonizing over Kagome for there to be any chance of progress. Meh but this is just me ranting , so thank you thank you for updating!  

I really liked this chapter...like i said before...regret is part of life and really; Sesshoumaru is lucky to be able to change his life...because even if he looses his company or shares or whatever, i'm sure he still ownes more than most people...and regarding Isamu...he card for him when his wife left for the US, he has no affair with Kagome and never abused his wife,,,he's been honest with her from the start..so i don't see a judge taking Isamu away...well...we'll see...keep up the good work :3

Glad he says he is leaving her for himself, since she is right and he didn't choose Kagome when he should have. Though he really should leave if he isn't happy. I don't think him and Kagome are anywhere near ready to get back into a relationship with all the issues they have to work out, but at least he'll be single. The time he has been spending with her so far has been highly inappropriate for a married family man, spending time with an ex-lover and taking is son along, just wrong.

Also loving the duo handling things for Kagome. It's so sweet how much they both love her in different ways, you have to love them both.

Anyway I'm still loving the story!

Poor kagome, im so confused about how I feel about sesshomaru's character I love that he loves kagome completely, but hate how their relationship ended up 

It was great, can't wait to read more and I hope the ending is a good one.
