lol....Kagome chucking the nearest available object at Sesshomaru and him wary? funny!
...i'm finding this alternately funny and very very horrifying. It's funny because it's fiction and it's Kag and Sess amd crack on a whole other level! and yet, if i so much as blink, the whole idea of a man getting a woman pregnant against her will..and then forcing her to stay with him...is just plain barabaric and scares the bejesus out of me.
it's possibly because I come from a society where women getting pregnant out of family pressure, or the man refusing to excercise caution, or being forced to get pregnant many times over because the family wants a boy - against their will, anyway - and then having to live with the consequences and watch their lives go out the window is a very common, everyday pehenomenon.... so it's sort of disturbing me that i'm still managing to find some humour in this. you must be doing a good job! ^.^
may i make one suggestion? if i were in kagome's position, i don't think i would automatically love the child and want to stay with it once it was born. if you added that touch of realism to your story, sesshoumaru's bestial desire for a child, and kagome's reactiosn to this complete upheaval of her life - she's not only bound to the man she must also raise a kid she never wanted in the first place..i'd say thats a bigg thing to get used to. the only really discordant note i found was when kagome, not even a few days pregnant tells sesshoumaru that of course she wont abandon the child. even if she's a loving woman, in my humble opinion it would still take her time to get to love the baby forming in her womb and getting used to the idea of motherhood enough that she would want to stick around...a slow change from viewing the baby as an wanted piece of trickery that's goign to change her whole world.
