Sesshomaru's family is very sweet, accepting Kagome so easily and teasing them as if it's common for them all to be interacting. Hopefully, once Kagome explains how families work, he'll appreciate it more.

Ah it was more than i thought to have taken place...  Sesshomaru's mother and father never cared for him.  If this is part of why Sesshomaru resents Toga Inu Yasha did get everything even if he hadn't seen his father.
