would it be possible to set up a beta thread?

personally i think it would be a good idea. atm, i'm looking for a beta for one of my stories. i was thinking that maybe we could have two ~ 'Looking for a Beta' and 'Need a Beta?' something to distinguish them from each other, or something like that anyway....

Whoa, totally missed this thread somehow.

It would probably be best to keep beta requests in the 'General Discussion' category, at least for now. I've noticed that on a lot of forums, having a few densely-populated forum categories is a little less bulky than have many, sparsely-populated ones. It's a little harder to keep up with, and if requests are in a forum that sees other content, they'll get a lot more exposure.

I added a beta section. I wasn't expecting so much traffic when I set up the categories, but with the volume we're seeing, it seemed appropriate to put up a Beta section as well.
