Really? I thought the whole point of making the new season was to get to the end of the manga. That would be unfortunate if they stopped again...

it definitely would be a horrible thing. but if it means a second final season, that'd be awesome. who knows, maybe the fan base was bigger than they originally thought and we're all keeping it alive and kicking.

btw, after reading a couple of the above posts, a thought came to mind...

On another note... Doesn't Sesshy usually not care what people call him? It's odd to me for him to worry about pride. But, I guess 'weak' is a bad word in his dictionary. It sucks how Kohaku was starting to get possessed again, but by another being. He gets possessed like Kagome gets kidnapped. I still want to see what happens next though. <END SPOILERNESS>

Spoiler tags are a nice consideration in case people didn't watch it yet when you assume they would. Because I like marathoning things, sometimes I may not be up-to-date so I have more things to watch in a row. So it is appreciated

I thought it was kind of funny though. While I was watching that one episode everyone was gushing over, I couldn't help but think about how the people on Dokuga must be going crazy. They're showing a lot of Sesshoumaru this season. I quite like it.

I, dear Dokugians, am at a loss for words. This was a truly moving and anxiety inducing episode. The action was pretty good, but it was the angst that got to me. Bravo! The BIG SHOWDOWN starts next episode and I am looking forward to it while on the edge of my seat!

I do wonder about his motives for going after the guy to start with though. I believe that maybe he went because he knew that Kagome was needed to help in detroying Naraku and with her powers sealed by the evil of the Shikon Jewel, she would be of no assistance really. Could he have been looking out for the Kagome's interests as well. He had to sense her anxiey about it, as well as how useless she felt about it? I like to think so.

i kind of like to think that he was pissed at what happened to Kags, so he went out of his way to deal with the guy who comatosed her, since Inu couldn't do it, and it'd have been something to trump over his brother.

It was a sorta meh episode for me being half flashbacks really. Though I hope to see some Sesshy helping Kagome footage next time! *crosses fingers*

I just watched the ep where he goes to the Underworld to kill the hell-hound (*coughcough*save rin*coughcough*). I couldn't stop "awww"-ing the whole way through! I seriously think Sess' character development is understated in the series.

this episode was mildly disappointing. not much in the way of action and plot advancement. seemed more like a filler than anything. can't wait for the next one!

Dub voice actors...Ooooooh yes, David Kaye is a STUD MUFFIN, both with his voices AND in person. Met him at a con and his regular voice is almost the same as his Sessh voice, just not quite so cold and uncaring. Quite a good-looking guy, too.

(Funny fact, he's also been Megatron in a few of the Transformers series, Beast Wars and Armada, I think, but I'm not sure if that's right).

what i thought was really interesting is that sess does have a soft side when it comes to kagome and rin. i like it where he was telling magatsuhi to leave kagome alone. too cute!

Ya know for awhile I thought the Kag/Sess pairing was all in our heads and we were just looking too close but come on he
: he fights off demons until she wakes up even though he is losing presious time in finding Rin
-He answers most of her questions and a lot of them are unspoken
-He tells her to stand back because she is in the way even though Jaken repeatedly states that Sess doesn't care friend from foe when he is fighting
- And when he says that Magustuhi picked the worst person to possess I really think he was referring to Kagome because she both of them will go to great lengths to protect her.

Anyways it was an awesome episode and bound to inspire a lot of spin off fics.

ekk i watched ep 23 today and our sesshy helped kagome omg this is so awesome my dreams hav come true

what an awesome episode. so sad the end is near though. i loved hearing Sesshy say Kag's name, even if it wasn't out loud. i played that part over and over again.
