Okay game time! this thread is going to be about movie recommendations. We were talking in the chat when the idea hit me.

RULES:
1. one movie name per post.
2. no double posting - meaning if your the last person to post, you have to wait for someone else to post before you can post again. no back to back posts.
3. you must rate the movie, ie. If it was g0od or not.
4. you must advise if the movie is rated above a pg17, or is rated R. If your not sure you can look this information up at a great website called IMDB, or the internet movie database.
5. You must say as you post, if you have seen the before mentioned movie.

hhmm, while you have given fair guidelines, do you have an age limit on the movie? i have seen 'Auguest Rush' but did not like it 2/10. have seen 'Mad Money' was ok. 7/10 . i recommend " Paint your Wagon " for comedy and Clint Eastwood singing(??) 9/10..

Never seen 'Paint your wagon' and no age limit, just the rating b/c i cant stop someone from watching it from here.

Titan A.E.-rated PG, I rate it a 10/10. good computer animation, with art work. It's a Don Bluth film!

Titan A.E. was good. Quite good.

Watch: Once Were Warriors - Its an indie New Zealand thing. Maori and all of that. Quite good 10/10. If it is rated it would be R i am sure if not NC-17. Not a light happy family flick. But uber good.

I was just thinking about it because I've been meaning to find the DVD... I think I'll go and do that now.

Little Miss Sunshine Rated:R 7/10. It was pretty awesome. Titan A.E. was a very good movie.

Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children 10/10, own it, love it, watch it repeatedly! If you enjoyed the original FF7 game then this movie is a must see. Heck, I know people who have never played the game and know next to nothing about it who have seen this movie and enjoyed it! Sexy(not to mention silver-haired) men, hot woman(Tifa, you own my heart), swords, totally wick3d motorcycles, and an easy to follow, while still being deep plot line, what more can you ask for!?

Okay, I'm going to go with the last movie I saw Burn After Reading rated R. 6/10. It was pretty hilarious... though I didnt love it for some reason.

btw, rOo... Lucky Number Slevin is amazing!!! YAY!!! I used a quote from that in the movie quotes are because it rocked so much!!! My socks are gone! not just off, gone I tell you!!!! LOL

Stardust rated PG. I'd give it an 8/10 LOVED IT (quick spoiler: Robert DeNiro is gay!)

Twilight!! Rated PG 10/10 because Robert Pattison is mega hot and talented. I had to reduce it from a 12/10 because of Kristin Stewart's performance wasn't the best.

anyway, I would recommend errr....Devil Wears Prada...I think it's PG-13 and LOVE that movie and I do own it...

'Orgazmo' with Trey Parker and Matt Stone.(I have never laughted so hard!) It's definately R. Basicaly if you like South Park, you will love this movie!

Howl's Moving Castle Rated PG, I give it a 10/10 because it's a just that freaking good. I have another favorite Miyazaki movie, but r0o said only one movie per postage

John Candy's Uncle Buck Rated G or PG. solid 9/10. Who would want shovel sized pancakes for your birthday? SOOO worth buying and watching.

I have got to say

Ong-Bak: The Thai Warrior (rated R, I believe . . . I have unrated version)

I rate it 10/10 . . . but I don't mind crappy subtitles, lol (hell, I hate dubb overs even worse . . . why all my IY is not the english version). If you like matial arts/action films (myself, I love em!!), Tony Jaa is absolutely amazing and does his own stunts. Movie is completely subtitled though because it takes place in Thailand, but I assure you . . . this guy is absolutely mindblowing. I remember watching it w/thoughts that I wasn't gonna like it and, afterwards, I was hooked. I even got his other movie, 'The Protector', although it wasn't as good as this one.

I wanted to see it, but didn't get to it.

Max Payne-Unrated (Probably close to R). This movie is a 12/10; and yes, I know the fraction in over. Saw it in theaters, and just now today. It's got a hint of Norse Mythology, and some good ol' action! There's enough of a twist, to bring this mystery to promise, even though I figured it out ahead of time. (I do it with all films, except 2.) Great camera angles! also, if you played the game, you'll realize it's a lot alike, unlike how they made Silent Hill man a girl instead...It has made my Top 20 movie list, and that is saying a lot.

One of my favorites is 'Keeping Mum'. I love Maggie Smith in this! A kill happy granny. It's a Dark Comedy rated R. I give it a 8/10, still really good.
