I had this idea of doing badges as well. You know like stamps only you have to earn them. Simple things like Nominating people for Dokuga's Awards, participating in 10 drabbel nights. That sort of thing. I would be on a 100% faith basis that people meet the requirements. Here is an example of a badge that I did for people who nominated someone in last Dokuga Awards.

I don't think that particular one would be very appropriate - personally at least. Only because then it arouses the question of "Who did you nominate?" and "If you nominated someone, why didn't you nominate me?" You know what I mean? That and it does go off a 100% faith basis.

I think if we're also going to be doing badges it should be for things such as the following:

Liked Character Fans;
Or people things participate in that aren't the Dokuga Awards;
I think of badges as boyscout and girl-scout badges.
You gain badge as you do something.
If you've made a stamp then you get a stamp maker badge.
If you like Bankotsu you get a Bankotsu fan badge. You know what I mean?The below are just ideas I made real quick I and I haven't gone back to make them pretty.

That is the exact idea! They should be somewhat uniform though so I should make a template. I have one for the one I made.. but not sure if I like it.

Fan badges, things like "GM Drabbler", "DDN Participant 5 times", The only reason I though of the nomming is because it would encourage people to nominate on the awards. It would be very inappropriate to ask who you nominated however. I guess I just assumed that Dokugans would be to polite to do that.

So do you think I should get to work on the template?

Yes! This way I can make mine prettier! Right now they are kind of blah :3

working on the template. It's almost done but I'm having problems getting the clipping mask to work. I might have some time tomorrow.

Sorry there is a little delay on the badge template. It's final week at college so I been a little out of my mind. I finished today so I plan on beating that template into submission tonight.

Finally finished! I am starting a new forum for badges the link for the first badge template can be found there. I plan on making some other badge templates as well including an oval, square, and diamond shaped badge. Any other ideas?

No sorry. I just checked my template in gimp and it doesn't work. Give me a little time and I can make one. I just need to figure out Gimp. Perhaps I can muddle through it tomorrow.

I'll play with it one night. I'm not sure on how to do the shadow effect, but I know just enough about how to start a basic template.

If I do end up with a template, I'll post it here.

yeah gimp dosent seem to come with all the tools. I didn't get to play with it today. I'm behind on a commission I promised for a club so I spent most the day on that. I'll see what I can do soon.

Was browsing through the stamps and as much as I admire masculine hotness I feel the need to toot Kagome's horn as well?? Some stamps for her please!

I remember anime episodes where she interacts with Rin, brings bento boxes for her friends, or even some sisterly time with Sango.

I'd try it myself but I have no clue where to start. I think the only image manip software I have is Paintbrush. Is there even a free-ware version of Photoshop? I'm more of a writer than an artist.

I looked through this forum and couldn't find the template but I really wanted to try making a stamp too.

So I'm not sure if this will work or not, probably not because of the logo on the bottom but I gave it my best try.
