This one is a bit more serious...

Last month I was diagnosed with Papillary Thyroid Cancer. Within a few short weeks I was in surgery having my thyroid removed and on my way to radiation treatment. I'm lucky. I'm going to be ok and it wont even be a long painful battle. My doctor says I "won the lottery of cancer" and "got the good cancer".

I know that there are many out there who have been through and are going through more pain and fear than I am. Your road is longer, your battle much harder, and the outcome in greater doubt. As scared as I have gotten, when a man going in for his 18th radiation treatment reassured me that I was going to be ok, that I was going to beat this.. It's hard not to be humbled. He is a brave man.

So this stamp is for all those brave Dokugans out there who are fighting or have beaten Cancer.

Thank you for sharing your story with us, and I'm sure I speak for many when I say how glad I am that your prognosis is so good. Cancer is never a good diagnosis... and no matter how rosy the prognosis, it's still a VERY scary time!!!!

Thank you very much Wiccan. It's part of why am I back and writing again. Facing your own mortality make you realize you have only so much time, and I decided I wanted to spend more time doing the things that made me feel happy and fulfilled.

And another new stamp. This one is for all the drabblers out that.

And another for those who sometimes take longer than they intend to between updates. (Its a play on "Like a boss" and yes that is a sloth with sunglasses.

This stamp goes out to all your plunnie breeders. For all the great stories you have inspired and all the great ideas you have shared.

I don't know if this applies, but I haven't seen a veterans stamp before. I was wondering if you could possibly make a stamp for disabled veterans like myself (or not disabled, either works

I'm happy to give it a shot. Here is a veterans and a yellow ribbon stamp. I hope to work on a disable veterans one, but I am not well versed in the symbolism. Is there a badge or something that I could implement. I kinda want to make it more special than just a colored ribbon.

In general, there is not a badge or logo for a disabled vet. Usually there are banners or coins or some such that honors vets. Here is an example:

Instead I'd like one that has the American flag in the background with the words disabled vet in the middle. ^^

OvO I was wondering if you could make a autoimmune stamp? Or lupus/MCTD stamp? (Lupus and MCTD have different ribbons but are both autoimmune diseases)

Sorry supermangageek. I'm going to get on that stamp as soon as I can. This week is kinda crazy for me. I'm going back in for some follow up tests from my surgery. But I will work on it as soon as I get some free time.

I was holding off posting this till I got permission from Yokai Yume to use her art. I have been told that she allows us to use her art for banners and such here on Dokuga only. So I am going to post this. However it's for use only on this site and if I am asked to take it down I will.
