The Whiskey Lullaby Tragedy Challenge 12 Years, 11 Months ago Karma: 3
There's a song by Alison Krauss and Brad Paisley called Whiskey Lullaby, and it may be the most hauntingly beautiful and tragic love song I've ever heard. The premise is that the woman leaves the man, he drinks to numb the pain until he drinks himself to death never having stopped loving her. The woman blames herself, and realizes that she never stopped loving him either and falls doom to the same fate. They are buried together so that they never have to be apart again. Here's the link.

I thought it was a good song for a more tragic Sess/Kag story, and I think a tragedy is a good challenge. I personally think great tragedies are harder to write than great happy endings.

Here are the rules:
1) I can be a chapter story or a drabble series. No one-shots
2) It doesn't have to be a song-fic, but it should be loosely based on the song and have the same general premise.
3) Considering the content of the song, it should have a higher rating then K+.
4)Karma and a banner will be given to all who participate! Post the first chapter on my wall or PM me and you may claim your banner!

The banner can be seen on my profile page!

Other than these few things, it's up to the creativity of the author. There is no word max/min and it is an open challenge, feel free to start it up at any time!
