I've watched the movie How to Train Your Dragon at least four times in the past week, and it gave me an idea. What if Kagome took Hiccup's place and Sesshomaru took Toothless'?

Now, for those of you who haven't seen the movie, here's the basic idea: Hiccup, a Viking boy whose father is the head of the village, is, well, a hiccup. He can't do much, since he's small and not at all what his father expects him to be. Long story short, Hiccup gets lucky and manages to befriend the most dangerous dragon of them all, the Night Fury. He then trains the dragon while moving up in the ranks during the dragon training class that all young Vikings go through to get the ultimate prize of slaying their first dragon.

I won't give away too much, since some people probably haven't seen the movie, but that's basically it.

Now, here's the challenge...

Requirements:

1. Sesshomaru MUST be a dog for at least half of the story
2. Kagome MUST befriend and then train him
3. ALL submissions MUST be posted with a link to the story, as well as the rating and summary. (Check Rules for rating lenience)
4. You MUST edit your entry before submitting it! I don't expect it to be perfect, but I don't want to be distracted by spelling mistakes!

Rules:

1. Each prompt should be used accordingly
2. Minimum word count per prompt is 1,000 words
3. One-shots and chapter stories will be accepted
4. Keep your rating between K and T (if you'd like to write a rating higher than that, please check with me first)
5. Have fun!

As for the prompt, that's completely up to you. All you have to do is work the concept of the prompt into your story in whatever way you see fit. "Come" is a fairly simple theme, I think, so there are a lot of possible ways for you to use it!

Ahh, a time limit, eh? I hadn't really thought about it, but since you've brought it up, I suppose I should set one...Let's say the time limit is a month. That way people will have time to write and post for each prompt.

Summary: Ridiculed almost constantly by her own kind for not being able to do anything right, either as a miko or as a human girl, Kagome finds out that she can do a lot more good to the kind she has to destroy. Though, befriending a creature such as he is hard, the miko goes on with her plan, taking care of him and finally, becoming something important to the great dog. And not only to him but to all.

Thanks for the reviews. I did go over and edit it a few moments ago. Wow, it was a mess. I feel horrible for posting such a pile of typos and tossed word salad. >_> Then again, I did post the chapter at... 4 in the morning? Maybe that should be my new rule. First off, I apologize for taking so long to give you all any sort of update! Life has been pretty hectic as of late, so I haven't been able to do much.

Anyway, I'll have the "Stay" token made and passed out hopefully by mid-December. My classes end on the 13th, so after that I'll most likely be able to sit down and get to work. If I haven't reviewed your "Stay" chapter yet, please let me know so that I can do so, and I'll have another prompt ready after I pass out the "Stay" tokens!
