I hope I'm doing this right. Here's a new challenge that just popped in my head.

Plot: A nobleman meets Kagome and believes she is the legendary princess Kaugya due to her rare blue eyes.

Rules:
It can be a Drabbles, chapter stories or a fan-art.
It must be a Sesshomaru and Kagome Fanfic. The nobleman must be the villain.
In the story you must include the treasurers that are mention in the original tale.
It should be ORIGINAL!
It also must have romance.
There is no required word court(make however long you want!)
This is open until May 31 2016.
rating: PG13-MA
The stories must also follow the rules of Dokuga.
Lastly have fun with it.

Could you perhaps post a link to the original tale so we have a basis to go off?

The first story that popped into my mind was ladybattousai's Seven Feudal Fairytales (rated MA) in which this particular legend played a key part as one of the 7 tales.

Beautiful story, I would recommend everyone to go and read it (I'm sure everyone's already read it, it's iconic!)

Does it need to follow the original story exactly, or can certain parts of it be rewritten?

No. You can make however you want it. You just need to have the treasures from the story mentioned. The fanfic should be totally original.

I also added two more rules to this that I forgot to mention. I will put it on the main thread and right here. It should be ORIGINAL! It also must have romance.
