So kagome has no memory, and Sess find her on the ground out in the woods. She has no memory of anybody (I think) and all of her friends believe that shes dead. Naraku had kidnap kagome and put a spell/or something to erase her memories. Eventually Sess takes her back to the Inu-group but everyone refuses to believe its really her. The inu-group had her a grave and everything. So they dig up the grave to show sess that the "real" kagome had died. When they open the coffin their is a girl that looks just like kagome, so they chase the real one off ECT....
