Tear-Jerker Movies 14 Years, 12 Months ago

Okay, this is going to sound very odd, but I was wondering if anyone knew of some amazing movies that you can't help but cry while watching. I've been in a mood to have a really, really cry-worthy movie. Ever just feel like crying, even though you're not actually sad? Well...maybe that's just me.
I have the Notebook and Sex and the City and a few chick flicks, but nothing to really make me bawl.
Any suggestions?

Just finished reading the Road -- then I saw the movie -- both made me bawl like a little girl. I also cry when watching "Seven Samurai". I get especially choked up when certain characters die (won't tell which cus I don't want to spoil things). "Ils" is a French film about life after death and I cried during that (the name means Them in French). "La Vie en Rose" is a tear-jerker. It's about the life of Edith Piaf -- she had a really, really, REALLY sad life. Just about anything by Hiyao Miyazaki makes me cry -- "Spirited Away" and "Kiki's Delivery Service" tend to get me the most choked up. I also cry a bit during "The Wizard of Oz" because no matter how many times I see that movie, certain scenes just get me every single time. Also, because I'm a complete nerd, I cry during the last bit of "Star Trek: Wrath of Khan". I also cried really hard during the opening of the new "Stra Trek" movie. Shut up. ^_~

Finding Neverland had me crying at the end. Phantom of the Opera is sad, too, although the book, with it's more detailed description of Erik's life, is what really brought tears to my eyes.
Old Yeller and Charlotte's Web are a couple of classic tear-jerkers.

Okay, so this isn't exactly a movie. It's a short Japanese T.V. series of about 11 episodes I think. It's called One Liter of Tears, at least in English.

I cried during 'The 13th Warrior' and 'Neverending Story'. Primarily on the swamp scene during that last one.

Love Story. It's like the original chick flick from the 70's but it's good and you are going to cry your eyes out at the end of it

Fun fact: All writers are crazy, to some degree. There is a reason for it -- actually making it through a novel almost requires it. Armageddon is a good mention, I cried the first couple of times I watched it torwards the end of the movie. I actually haven't seen all of Green Mile, but what parts of it I did see lead me to believe that it was a very emotional movie.

Please please please see P.S. I Love You! I've never alternately laughed and cried so many times during a movie. It's truly fantastic. Other movies I cried during (I tend towards being a crier though...) were The Last Samurai, Pay it Forward, Atonement, Moulin Rouge, and Tristan and Isolde.
