Amazing, I loved the title and it's double meaning.  I wonder when Sesshoumaru is scheduled to leave since he is only visiting on business.  

I wonder who Kagome dated after Sesshoumaru.  And if she will open her heart again for someone else, since it is officially over.  There is no more hiding because she has nothing to hide from anymore, she closed that chapter of her life.  Now it's time to move on.

Who does he think he is to just waltz back into her life and expect her to slide back in to side chick position. And he's so unapologetic about it too! It's doesn't matter if you don't love your wife, you still have a wife!

Man this is so heartbreaking! :'( but this is also a great story!! I love it.. Wow what a mind-boggling situation huh. he loves her, even after she waa gone for that long... I wonder is she teally dating someone else or did she lie? And I'm guessing that someone else is Inuyasha..I wonder how Sesshoumaru will react... He will heartbroken with the idea that she has moved on but then again he's married.

Does 'komainu' mean something? Ah the angst! Looking forward to seeing who kagome is with now. 

Maybe Kagome has a child of her own, to even the score so to speak.

I really enjoy your story already. I also feel that Kagome would never be the other woman. His business might be important but it was not life and death, he chose power over her, and that it's love, no matter what excuses are used. I definitely feel she would try to distance herself even more now that he has a kid. Kagome is not a home wrecker, and would want a child to have a proper family. I seriously hope that she does have someone else she is seeing.

I read one story on this site where Sesshoumaru and Kagome break up and never get back together. It was the whole he didn't realize what he had until she couldn't take it anymore and left him, hurting him like he had always hurt her. It was a really good story. I'm not saying that is how you should end your story though, but I think in your story it would be a long time before Kagome gets back together with him, if ever. 

It would also be nice if Kagome had a kid of her own before they ever get back together. Not one she adopted, but one she had. It would put them on more level ground if he ever divorces his wife. He with his kid and Kagome with hers, I really like that idea. I guess I have just read too many stories where either he or Inuyasha have kids with someone else and then want or get Kagome back. Yet she's usually the one that didn't move on and it's just sad, even when they get back together. Makes it seem like Kagome was only good enough after they got everything else they wanted, you know.? Plus, I like how at the end you said Sesshoumaru believes all actions have consequence. I wondler if it would hurt him as much to see her hold a child that isn't his. Would he step up his game and leave his wife?

Anyway I look forward to seeing what else you have in store for this story.

I'm happy with the update, was hoping Kagome moved on and found herself a boyfriend and/or husband.
