Aah, this has so much potential. I'm looking forward to the continuation. How much will she change? Will Sess be able to control himself? What will happen before and when she becomes pack? Will they have mated before the presentation? What is Kahomes reaction to all this? So many possibilities!

This is such an interesting and promising story! I hope you continue. I cant wait to see how her training progresses and what the hell happens when the banquet begins. I didn't even check to see how long it has been since you updated. Anyway great beginning - I am thoroughly interested!

   The way you have Kagome coping with the loss of her sight is good, a little more sedate than I thought it would be, but subtle - as if she's grown up a bit more. I like Kouji as your healer, he's like most side characters good at what he does, loyal, and gone before you know it. I hope he will still have a small role to play later on. I also like that is seems Sesshoumaru has some understanding of what Kagome is encountering. Her loss of her freedom and her own doubts about her abilities are countered and mitigated in a bit by the fact that Sesshoumaru is willing to continue to train with her so that she can still feel useful. Compassion is coming from an unusual place... perhaps this is where a deeper attraction will stem from? 

    I look forward to the next chapter and thank you for sharing your talent!

Please tell me that she won't be permanenply blind. It would be so unfair. Why can't her miko powers help her since she's obviously so strong. Please don't make it so that she's blind. Let her get back her vision after learning to fight blind. Please!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, it's real good!  I can't believe that she truly lost her eye sight and now some how she and Sessh are bonded or linked.  Can't wait to see how training goes and what happens with her and Sessh.

I like the story, it's so good.

I have a few mistakes for you but this is the biggest one I found and just had to note. Last sentence of the paragraph. I copied the full paragraph so it would be easier for you to find.

As she knelt on the futon, she heard the clink of the tray with food on it being set down in front of her. As the footsteps of the server faded away, she realized what a challenge this is going to be. There was a moment of silence, and the Shoji screen door fighting closed signal believing of the server.

There were a few others but concidering how tired I'm sure you were to post this so late, I'm not surprised. I'm actually impressed that you didn't have more, seeing as writing tired usually caused all kinds of typos for most everyone. :)

This was a really great chapter, and I am really loving the way you are moving the story. Kagome's struggle to accept help on some many seemingly simple tasks and her frustration is very well written. You are presenting the emotional struggles very well.

It was absolutely a joy to see an update on this fic after soooooooo long. ^_^ I'm loving how the story is evolving and how the characters are depicted esp. Sesshou. What I most admired was the fact that Kagome's sight won't be returning which usually happens in other stories to ensure a 'happy ending' or something of a similar cliched turn of events. In short, I love that this is more realistic and you have taken the difficult job of weaving a detailed and satisfying plot where Kaggie is still strong yet blind without any frills to make it softer. :)

Chapter 2 was great!

There are a few errors, I lost count of where exactly, but of what I can remember, at one point you had hit instead of it, and but refering to a body part has 2 Ts. Those are the only ones I can remember, although I know that there was another one some where along the way.

Overall, I really like this chapter and the way you worked it. It's sad that she lost her sight, but I'm glad that Sesshoumaru is being so proactive in taking care of her.

I'm wondering what the elders will do. Is he worried that they will try to kill her? Or will they try to use her for something?

So many questions!

This is a good start.  I love how strong you've made her even in her weakness.  I'd be great if Sesshoumaru wasn't 'almighty' as well.  Can't wait to see where you go with this.
