I honestly thought for a moment there that he totally lost it and that maybe they wouldn't make up until after Christmas but suddenly, I remembered the title and how I'm sure you wouldn't let Rin's wish not come true. Brilliant, aren't ? this whole chapter was excellent. Especially when he went outside to get her back inside with him...amazing! The icing on the cake, so to speak, was her stripping and enticing him into the bedroom. Now that's the way to end an arguement!  JEN

WooHoo!  Man, that was rough.  Sesshoumaru really is messed up.  I hope Kagome comes back early from her trip, or delays it.  I don't like the manner in which Souta acted toward Sesshoumaru and wouldn't put it past Souta to try to get Kagome away from him.  Spending the night together might just be what was needed before she left.  It's so cool that she's going to spend the night and day with them.  Rin's upset over Kagome leaving for Christmas was well thought out.  I don't know that it would have occured to me that she'd be so upset.  I could have *face-palmed* when Kagome asked Sesshoumaru to let her help him.  I knew he'd react badly, but I'm glad he did a 180 and didn't let her leave.  He even apologized!  Whoa...Great chapters.  I really love this story.  The shopping trip was a real treat.   I know Rin and Sesshoumaru are really looking forward to Kagome opening the gifts.  Those two are going to be all alone at Christmas.  It's sad.  Well, I look forward to your next chapters.  ^_^

I'm so glad that Sesshoumaru made her stay.  I just wonder how long it will take them to have a conversation that both can listen to and neither will get their feelings hurt.  They are both so sensitive.  Thank you for the update!  I just hope that things will go better for them now!

I just started reading this story and trying to catch up when you updated this last chapter, which i must say was awesome! After the last one i wasn't sure how it was going to go, but i absolutely loved the way this ended. I was sort of thinking was he going to throw her out, or would she leave after feeling rejected, and would they ever sort things out or would she go to her brothers and not return, though that last thought would have made it one of your shortest stories ever!LoL But i loved how he went after her, that was cliqued but still very romantic, i even enjoyed how they talked but didn't really say much. But the best part of this chapter was difinitly the ending, how he thought she was leaving and that turned out to be the last thing on Kagome's mind.Lol

Love your work and look forward to the next chapter!!

Oh good grief!!! Cut yourself some slack, Sesshoumaru! Can't he feel the difference between pity and caring desrie? Guess he's not paying attention because she's been playfully flirting with him for quite awhile and how many caretakers do you know that would cook homemade food for YOU to come home to each night after work? And the night at the company party, did that dance feel like pity? Or the looks she gave him? What about that kiss? Did that kiss feel like pity? Whenever their eyes connect, does he see pity there??? OH, I could go on but, but really!?! I just hope she doesn't allow him to make her leave . I can see where he's coming from and all but she has been SO obvious with her attention towards him AND this little make out session...I won't even go there... Don't let him push you out, Kagome! Your love life and social life hasn't been a bed of roses either, so stand up to his anger and hurt. Tell the man you aren't the kind of woman to initiate sex but you just can't help what he does to you just being around him and though after that kiss, maybe he felt it too but was alittle gun shy because of Rin's mother leaving... those words just came out wrong...
