He would push her away. This is Sesshoumaru after all people. He has not met Rin or anything,it will take much more to melt his heart. I know she will have to grow up and somehow keep canon. Although will Inuyasha remember if either of them don't?  So sad but I still love this story.

awesome update!! And I am terribly sorry to hear about your father, you have my condolescenes it always hurts to lose a love one especially a parent. I know that some unpleasant things will happen in future chapters given that Kagome will forget about Sesshoumaru..I will just brave it and cry until this cute couple becomes one again.

Wow... Kagome seemed pretty mature regarding this. I wonder if they'll get to deal with Kagome's dad dying. Maybe then the roles will be reversed. Hopefully writing about dads, makes you remember all the great times with yours. I can't wait to see what will happen next :)
