OmG! I just spent my entire lunch break reading this instead of eating. Wow. Not the first story you have written I have read but defiantly the one I want updated the most! Keep it up. I love your writing!

I know everyone must be saying the same thing, I cried so much reading these last chapters of her Father dying... it was good he hung on long enough for her to hear his love for them one more time and know he was proud of her and her strength.

I just knew when she come home and saw her mother waiting that her father wasn't going to be there for her anymore. He died for the love of his daughter...he went to get her a birthday cake and Momma didn't have the heart to tell her. I'm glad because that definitely would have stayed in her heart and mind, possibly making her feel responsible.

Now she and Sesshoumaru have one more thing to share in common, their Father's died while they were still young. Like everyone else here, I totally love this fic. It's sweet and endearing and makes us want to know more about this very young child with such intelligence, love and understanding for one of her years.

Oh no...we've reached this point of Kagome's life. Where's baby Souta though? I wonder how Sesshoumaru will deal with the Kagome that comes back after going through all this. Maybe another bonding point. I can't wait to see what happens next :)
