Guidance From A Friend

Chapter 1

"How are doing, Sesshomaru?" asked a silver figure from the door.

"Fine, Bluestar," breathed Sesshomaru quietly not removing his gaze from the fire in front of him.

Bluestar shook her head," Sesshomaru, you should know that the emotionless stuff does not work with me. I am blood bound to you. And we have practically grown up together."

Sesshomaru turned his eyes onto the creature beside him.

Bluestar was a silver nine-tailed kitsune. Her features were very pleasing to the eye. She had ice blue eyes, a beautiful silky coat that seemed to have a light all it's own and her nine tails framed her powerful lithle body as they fanned out behind her.

"That is one bad reason to being bound to you," said Sesshomaru knowing that would shock her beyond anything else.

Bluestar looked up in pure surprise from where she had been rebandaging him.

Sesshomaru gave her an amused smirk and gently scratched his sign on her shoulder and said," But I have and never will regret it."

(Let's get something straight. Bluestar is blood bound to Sesshomaru and InuYasha. Sesshomaru's sign is on her right shoulder, which is the crescent moon, and InuYasha's is on her left shoulder and is a red flame. And has grown up with them. It is her duty to help and care for them. She can also read their minds. And being that they are so close they are almost like family.)

Sighing in relief Bluestar touched the blue crescent moon on her shoulder and turned to look at him once more," So would you like to tell me what happened?" gesturing to his bruises and wounds.

Sesshomaru's eyes bled red as he told her of the battle between him and InuYasha and how the miko that was always with him broke through his armor.

"It seems that the miko you speak of has a great deal of power. What do think of her?" asked Bluestar

Sesshomaru snorted and turned away.

"Sesshomaru," growled Bluestar in frustration.

Sesshomaru did not respond.

"If that is the way you want it I'll find out myself," said Bluestar as she closed her eyes and began to glow, a blue energy surrounding her. Finding his mind she prodded it and found the only dominant thought. It was a beautiful human girl with chocolate eyes and midnight-blue hair that went to her hips. Prodding further she found that her name was Kagome and that see was the miko that Sesshomaru had spoken of.

Exiting his mind she opened her eyes and smiled showing all of her white canines," So I see this miko is Kagome. If I am correct she travels with InuYasha."

"Yes," growled Sesshomaru angry that she had read his mind.

"She is beautiful isn't she?" asked Bluestar hoping to get what she wanted out of him.

"Ye--, WHAT?!?!" said Sesshomaru in surprise.

"OHHH!!! Sesshomaru has a crush on Kagome. Isn't that sweeeet," said Bluestar smiling even bigger.

"I do not. I would never stoop that low," said Sesshomaru indignantly.

"And if you read in between the lines it is this. ' I LOVE her!! She is so beautiful. And I can't live with out her,' said Bluestar in her most high and girlie voice.

"You know, Blue, I think I have the craving for kitsune flesh," hissed Sesshomaru walking towards her.

"Oh, Crap!" yelped Bluestar sprinting away and jumping on a tall bookcase. Looking down at Sesshomaru and said in her most baby mocking voice, "Aww the big bad doggy-woggy can't catch a simple kitsune. It's so sad."

"We'll see about that," he hissed as he made a grab for her winding up with two of her tails.

Yelping in pain she jumped down.

"I win," said Sesshomaru as he let go of his catch and went back to his chair.

"All right, all right," sighed Bluestar as she groomed the two meshed tails. When finished see walked to sit near Sesshomaru and laid her head in his lap and asked," Are we going after Naraku?"

"Yes," he said as he rubbed behind her pointed ears.

"Then why don't we go join InuYasha?" said Bluestar in excitement.

Sesshomaru looked down at her like she had gone crazy.

"Oh, come on InuYasha is my master as well and with your strength and his you are sure to defeat Naraku AND you'll be able to be near Kagome," she said drawing Kagome's name out.

"And why would I want to be near her?" asked Sesshomaru in annoyance.

"Oh, come off it Sesshomaru. You and I both know that you have feelings for her. It doesn't take a God to figure that out," sighed Bluestar rolling her eyes in exasperation.

Sesshomaru said nothing but looked away not willing to look her in the eye.

Understanding Bluestar placed a paw on his hand and said," Sesshomaru, I fully understand that you are not willing to love after to what happen to your mother. But she would not want you to not love again because of that."

Sesshomaru looked into her eyes seeing the truth and the care that flashed in them," Very well, but I am only doing this for you, sister."

Shaking her head she thought,' Men,' "What ever you say. Good night." Turning to leave she stopped at the door and looked back," Oh and Sesshomaru, I won't tell Kagome you LOVE her."

"OK you are officially on the menu for breakfast tomorrow," said Sesshomaru trying to sound as threating as possible.

"I love you too, brother dearest," giggled Bluestar closing the door behind her.

Silver F: (sighs) That went better that I thought it would.

Bluestar: Yeah and I finally have something to tease Sesshomaru with.

Sesshomaru: You wouldn't you stupid kitsune.

Silver F: (shakes head) Here we go again.

Bluestar: Oh that hurt that really hurt. (Looking around see noticed Kagome near-by. Smiling evilly at Sesshomaru.) Hey, Kagome can you come here?

Kagome: Hey guys.

Silver F: Hi, Kagome.

Sesshomaru: Nods.

Bluestar: I want to tell you that Sesshomaru...muumuu...(mumbles trough Sesshomaru's hand.)

Kagome: Looks at Silver Fang in confusion.

Silver F: Smiles and shakes head trying hard not to laugh.

Sesshomaru: Anyway Review but NO flames. (Growls as he tries to restrain a struggling Bluestar)
