City Of Angel's by Lavender Cake

Chapter One.

AN: So first off Thanks to Akiyama Ayame for being my beta reader and helping me with my story *claps for her* now on to the other issues. Okay. Fist I used to be 'Bloody=Kisses' but now I'm Eggo Waffles and to all the Flamer's out there who DO NOT like the Pairing off of Kagome/Sesshoumaru. Suck it up and get lost. And people say "watch the show, Read the Manga" First off if you haven't seen movie 3 or 4 or watched past episode 110. You people need to seriously watch it. First off... Inuyasha would in a heart beat go after Kikyou HELLO she fell in a river of acid and he searched for her only to let Kagome get kidnapped. Also when that stupid girl who 'loves Sesshoumaru' takes Inuyasha's sword he uses it to kill them and you can't use Tessiga unless you have something to protect it was in the very beginning to the third movie, His father asks him "SESSHOUMARU, WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO PROTECT?" if people haven't noticed then really... And yeah he loves his Father and maybe 'Dislikes' Inuyasha but he has yet to kill him. Maybe slap him around so the kid would learn not to dis-respect his elder brother I would do it do if my younger sibling was a jackass, And as for Sesshoumaru hating human's and never going near Kagome?

Puh-lease! Rin? she looks like a MINI version of Kagome. And her attitude is cheery And he doesn't seem to care. And when Rin asks Sesshoumaru not to forget her he says "nonsense" in case of which he wouldn't and because you don't like it doesn't mean we have to be like you. Or you people saying "He can go with a fan girl" what makes you think if he 'doesn't want' Kagome what makes you think he would want you?

Oh and as for the 'Kikyou & and Inuyasha' Bashing, Good god. Look at Kikyou she tried to take him to hell. Believe me I like Kikyou she has the insane thing going. But to a point where seeing her face annoys me. As for Inuyasha I like him and his feelings don't concern me when I write my fan fictions. He's a idiot plain and simple. Not once does he say "I love you" to Kagome while she say's it all the time. EVEN Miroku says it and even to Sango's face!? So the Kagome/Sesshoumaru pairing is possible. Good or Bad Fanfics Respect people cause all they did was feed an obsession. And yeah I'm a *curse* but get over it and stop stomping on our passion of Sesshoumaru and Kagome.

Heh that felt allot better. And if I get flames on this note I will be rude about it. I take my time on my Fiction and I don't feel like being talked down too because it didn't 'meet there satisfaction'. Cause I'm really tired of the flames I'm getting because other people don't like this pairing... I don't find it funny nor do I want to.

Chapter One.

He looked down at the busy street's a autumn wind blew around him. Ruffling his black clothing and long silver hair. His ember orb's flashed, Viewing the people around him.

How he longed to be that way. He wanted nothing more then to feel the touch of a female. To have her long leg's wrapped his waist as he whispered sweet nothing's into her ear.

Or for him to feel the chilled breeze. he would take his very soul and sell it to be like them again. Turning his head away as he felt the wind ruffle his white feather's his black button up shirt loose on his built form as the black slacks hugged firm leg's He turned around his wing's flapping slightly as he turned into the mere wind it's self.

She groan, spit, snort, laugh. And anything un-lady like as she watched her friend Sango look at her like she were insane. "Kagome-chan maybe you shouldn't be eating that amount of sugar..." Kagome shook her head as she munched on a sugar cookie. "Nah, It's alright." she smiled softly as she nibbled on it.

Kagome Higurashi she was a senior in collage. And training to be a Vet. She loved animal's so decided to but it to use. Sango sighed as she looked over her friend. She sat, crouched in the plastic chair in the Cafe at there University. Kagome had long black hair, it hung to her lower back. The ends of it a bit wavy as the sunlight hit it. It caused a blue glow to it. And misty blue eye's almost a crystal white.

Kagome was rather pretty in Sango's opinion though the girl couldn't give two damns about her look. She wore her raggy Jean's and baggy t-shirt's and her hair always in a messy ponytail. Yeap. That was Kagome. She looked rather homeless then a rather rich University Student.

Kagome laughed loudly gaining them a few stares. She smiled. "Yeah then I canned him!" Sango smiled. she had been talking about Kagome's last boy-toy. Hojou-kun was a nice boy but Kagome wanted someone who wasn't well human. And that was where Kagome might die alone.

Laughing with her friend she had stopped to stare at a few of the weirdest looking bunch she had ever seen, One of them seemed to be a white haired man. He was pretty and Kagome was the only one who seemed not to be looking at the man. Until she stopped talking to realize Sango wasn't listing to her.

"Oy, Sango-chan?" she patted her friend lightly on the knee as she leaned forward taking the girl's Cola and smiling. "What are you staring at?" she titled her head as Sango pointed at the man. Kagome turned her head to see nothing. "I don't see anything?" Her words echoing through the silent Cafe.

He had been wondering. He had let the people see him. He sighed. Well more of a puff of breath. Though it had gone dead silent except for the chatting of one girl. She hadn't stopped talking. She didn't even seem to notice him while every other woman had. He made a frown appear on his face.

She had not even past him a glace. And yet he felt nothing. And showed nothing but the frown screwing up his delicate features. Shaking his head as he just appeared on top of the University Building his hair blowing as he had to be the only angel to be without emotion. Since he was the oldest. He had banished his emotion's long ago.

When he died...

Dead.

He was dead. Not human his unearthly beauty followed him everywhere he went. His long slender finger's and a sharp claw edges the ends of his hands, maroon stripes on each hand crossing onto his palm. And two of the same stripes just on each cheek bone. And a dark blue crescent moon in the center of his forehead.

He was God's right hand of heaven. He was Sesshoumaru. The killing perfection. Not a good name for an angel. But he did kill what his God considered evil. And he was damned good at it.

Though two-thousand year's as a emotion-less shell was bound to get boring. He shut his eyes to hear everything. Down to that of the bug's chirping and trying to find peace and silence until the darkness of night came.

It was when he had felt the lightest of hands on his shoulder. He turned to see the little girl who had followed him. "Rin?" his voice hollow as she smiled and sat beside him. He had saved her from a car two year's ago. But the poor little girl had died of cancer non sooner. He frowned as the girl would never age and experience life that of a woman.

It would bring him sadness... kind of. She leaned her small head on his forearm and spoke. Her girlish voice music to his ears. "Sesshoumaru-sama. I noticed you were spending a lot of time on Earth... Are you alright?" He stared ahead. The Autumn breeze moving them along as if they were dust.

"You've noticed?" she nodded slowly at his words. Rin looked up at him with her large cinnamon eyes. "Kami-sama has been noticing too and he won't tell me why..." her head lowered. The young girl had carried her emotion's he envy'd her. Though he would never say so. Though having no emotion's he wanted his long dead pride.

"I feel as if watching these people will bring a peace to me..." his voice low as if the other Angel's would hear him. She nodded her head slowly as she looked towards the busy street's, as Sesshoumaru stared at her. Her long dark brown hair had been straight till the end's where it had flipped out and some of it pulled into a messy side ponytail.

The girl's black sundress blended with her dark hair and fair skin. She was a cute little girl. cut so short on life. Though he would always be with her. She would soon be like him. A guardian for the children who had lost hope. Giving them a shining light.

Moving slowly and with perfect grace. He stood as he held out a large clawed hand out to her as she took it and moved to his side. "I do wish I could see my Mama and Papa again. But... I like being here with you..." she smiled up at him as he felt his wing's expand from his back and push out.

He had gotten over the pain a century ago. Yes. it hurt at first. But now he picked up the little girl and disappeared into a golden mist.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

He looked through the small cloud that floated in front of him. He was worried one of he was about to lose one of his angel's to one of his other creations.

He frowned. Life was indeed interesting. Sesshoumaru had been a noble man. A wealthy one at that. Shaking his head and sending his blonde locks over his shoulder as he waved his hand to see the cloud disappear as he sat on the white thrown.

"Gabriel..." he said, his voice a soft drawl as a rather tall looking man appeared before him, his long white wing's silver as his dark chestnut brown hair just brushed Gabriel's broad shoulders.

"I want you to keep an eye on Sesshoumaru..." the arch angel nodded his head slowly as he smiled smile. Showing off his pearly white teeth. "May I say something Kaiden-sama?" Kaiden looked over and nodded. "Maybe... this is what Sesshoumaru needs..." Kaiden laughed and nodded.

"It is but I don't want to see him hurt from the future that is to come... so just watch over him... but make sure he doesn't see you. He's very independent..." Gabriel felt himself smile more as he turned into the light gold dust faded from Thy God's presence.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Kagome walked along Campus, the falling leaves adding colour to the rather plain area of where she lived. Moving to her car, Nothing fancy. And she'd rather live alone. And walk every where then have a car. Moving to the Bus stop where she had started to fish through her bag looking for her bus pass. Damn transit people...

Though smiling as she heard the music play through her head phone. Loud to her but to other's a peaceful hum. She wasn't in the mood for metal.

Soon as the bus had pulled up she had stepped on flashing the man her pass as she took a seat. She was heading to her mother's house... Yay. Well she wasn't poor that was for sure, her Father had owned land and a shrine of which she grew up. Soon after her father died. Her mother married again.

She hated the man with a passion. She called him 'Satan' and did childish thing's behind his back. It was funny to Souta her younger brother. Though her Mom had a girl after her... she felt so replaced.

Soon stepping off the bus She had started up the stairs to the shrine. "Why do they have to be so big and long..." she mused to her self aloud since she was the only one there. She stopped at the top and stared at the shrine, It was old. And a bit dirty but it was all good to her, it was a home away from home, I guess you could say.

Moving up to the door with a slowness Kagome never knew she had she opened the front door and called out. "Hello? Mom?" she stopped in and closed the door to be greeted by the elder woman. "Hello Kagome-chan" she smiled at her daughter.

It was good to see her again. Kagome smiled as she moved foreword to hug her mother. "So what's for dinner I'm starved..." she smiled as she gently pushed Kagome into the living room. "Go sit in the living room with everybody." she smiled as Kagome nodded.

Kagome moved into the small room. there sat what ever family she had. Her younger brother Souta who would of been seventeen by now. His black hair, similar to Kagome's, and dark blue eye's. He wore nothing but black, the kid was becoming 'Goth' more and more each day.

Kagome's voice rang through the small room as the people in it turned to stare at her. Her step father of which she hated. His dark hair lined with gray as his daughter sat beside him. Her ten now. Her black hair lined with blonde. 'Sick' Kagome thought to herself as she rolled her eyes at the new girl who hanged off her little brother. A matching girl to go with him.

"Nice to know your tastes haven't improved," Kagome said smiling as Souta snorted. "Why would I take dating advice from you?" Kagome who had moved to sit on the other side of her brother hit him playful yin the arm earning her a smirk as she leaned forward to stare at the girl.

"Hi My name is Kagome, Souta's older sister. And sorry you have to be seen with him in public..." she laughed softly as the girl smiled flashing her white straight teeth. "Izumi..." she said her voice soft as Kagome took in her appearance, Black and blue hair while having green contacts in.

Her outfit of which leather, chains and some type of satanic symbol showed. "Nice to meet you!" Kagome said her cheerfulness there and then it wasn't when she turned to her Step father. "Hello, Shina..." her voice dull as she turned to the little girl. To Kagome the girl looked like a prostitute.

She hated them both, they both ruined her family. again she would of thought again. Smiling as best as she could as her mother had then cleared her throat and nodded for them all to get re4ady for supper.

So the evening had passed on like normal. A bad silence... followed by Kagome helping with dishes and her Mother starting the normal conversation when everyone was kind of enjoying themselves in the living room. "How's school Kagome-chan?" Kagome nodded her head slowly and smiled.

"Good though Sango's been acting weird... ever since this afternoon..." Her mother titled her head slowly as she shrugged, "Maybe she has someone in her life..." Kagome fought the urge to roll her eyes. "I don't need anybody. So stop giving me hint's Mother." she barked rather rudely in which she got a glare from.

"She said she saw a man with white hair wearing all black..." Her mother rose a dark brow at her. "That's unusual..." Kagome nodded her head in agreement. "But I need to get going. I have a test tomorrow... were learning on how to help give birth to farm animals..." Her mother looked at her daughter with a look of confusion.

"When would you need to know that?" Kagome shrugged as she smiled. "We have a field trip tomorrow, I'm going because I get to see cow's!" Kagome smiled as she leaned forward and kissed her mother lightly on the cheek. "I'll call you tomorrow." Her mother nodded as she saw Kagome dash out the door.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Kagome had stepped into her apartment as she just seemed to look at the digital clock which the red letter's glowed sickly into the over coming darkness. She sighed '10:43' it would be rather hard for her to get up tomorrow. Rolling her eyes as she used her left hand to feel for a switch, Turing on a lamp, the light not as bad as the red letter's as she stared around the apartment.

This weekend she would need to go grocery shopping. Putting her fall jacket on the back of black recliner chair she headed to her room. Changed and pulled the cover's from her bed and moved into a deep slumber once her lithe body hit the bed.

~Dream~

Kagome stood outside. On the roof of a building. It was cold, but the star's and the Waxing moon gave her light. She stared out her hand's touching the rim of the building as she stared out at the many light's that littered the city.

"What are you doing up here...?" a deep voice called out, gasping Kagome turned around. He was beautiful, she stared a him, he didn't look mad or annoyed or shocked that she was there.

"I don't know..." she titled her head sending ebony locks over her shoulder. "Hmmm..." his small noise made her smile. He sure was a weird person. Though as her eye's scanned him they stopped on the large white wing's almost a snow white. the end's of his feather's a dark gray as she walked towards him. Poking him in the chest.

"What are you?" she titled her head as he blinked down at her. "Myself?" he rose a dark brow towards as she smiled and started to run her finger's through his wings.

Sesshoumaru felt a chill run over his body. It had been the loud girl from the Cafe he had been at. Though now she ran her finger's through his finger's and her hand's didn't go through them as a normal human's hand would. And in the longest time he felt the need to runt he back of his hand down her cheek to feel her soft creamy skin.

Or to touch her soft pink lips, they looked soft. they were full and gave most of her face expression. right down to the small peach freckles that ran along her nose. Or her dark eye brow's which drew together when she saw something she liked.

Kagome was to focused on his wing's them him watching her. Well Until she had decided to grip the pretty wing's to see if they were real but instead all she did was yank out a hand full, Getting a angry growl from the man and her smiling. "Opps... sorry..." she said her voice higher then normal as she jumped when he turned an icy glare on her.

"Don't touch my wing's again..." his hissed at her as she Back backed away. Her looking past him to see the sun rising, and the sound of her alarm clock going off.

I hope you enjoyed it! Please Read & review ^-^
