Chapter One

Kagome walked through the forest enjoying the beautiful night. The breeze felt good against her pale white skin spreading her sakura and lavender scent everywhere around the forest. She followed the moonlit path; she walked in a small clearing with a beautiful tall sakura tree. She noticed someone sitting under it. She came a little closer. It was Sesshomaru. It seemed he was sleeping.

'He looks so peaceful' thought Kagome 'It seems that he has no problems or worries about anything at all'

Sesshomaru had come to his favorite place to rest or think about something. He would sometimes sleep here. Yes today was the day he would sleep and get the sleep he oh so needed. He has not slept for over six months! Stupid Naraku trying to get in his lands all the time, he had no time to rest, but now it seemed vile hanyo stopped. He started to doze off when he smelled sakura and lavender.

'It's so soothing yet so familiar' he thought. He opened one of his eyes. He saw InuYasha's wench standing in a clearing. She seemed to be looking at the sky.

'She looks like an angel' his other eye snapped open. He did not just think that.

'Rin is definitely making me soft'

Kagome looked at Sesshomaru, but didn't notice him watching her. She turned around and started to walk toward the village.

Few days has passed Kagome seemed she can not get Sesshomaru out of her mind.

'Did I fall for him?' Kagome's eyes winded she couldn't could she? He is a cold hearted killer.

'No, he isn't a cold hearted if he was he wouldn't have Rin with him, something must have happened when he was younger'

The rest of the gang was just chilling after eating early dinner.

"InuYasha I'm going for a walk"

"Oh ok" he jumped off the tree and started to look through Kagome's bag to find some of those crunchy potatoes.

"They're I the left pocket InuYasha" He looked up at her.

"Thanks" she seemed to know what he wanted all the time it's like she could see through him.

Kagome started walking through the forest to the clearing that she came up on just few days ago.

"It's so beautiful" she sat down "People don't know what they're missing in my time" she sighted. She heard voices coming from somewhere and went to see who that was.

"InuYasha?" asked Kikyo.

"Yes?"

"Do you love my reincarnation?"

"No, of course not"

"Then what does she mean to you?"

"Nothing, just a shard detector"

Kagome turned around. She was hurt. She was very mad 'How could he? I thought we were at least friends?! After what we've been through! ' She marched back to camp. Suddenly she felt a sharp pain in her right side chest. She looked down she saw blood flowing.

"This was so easy" laughed demon.

She was slipping into darkness as she though 'Sesshomaru. I love you' and darkness took her over.
