Humpty Dumpty had a Great Fall

+++

Kagome ran down the beach her black bikini was semi-covered with a beach cover up that was tied on her like a toga. It had many different swirls of blue on it. Her bare feet kicked up wet sand. She had gotten up early this morning for a jog before she went to work. She was a hostess at a local bath house. It was a good paying job but it was only to pay the bills till she could get a better job.

She saw something getting hit by the water. She could only see it from the distance. It was pale and looked to have bit of black and red mixed with the pale peach color. He stopped running. What was that? She shrugged her shoulders and started to run again. As she began to get closer it started to take on more of a shape.

Her stomach was getting unease and she was starting to get uneasy. Finally it clicked in her head. That thing was a body! Screaming she raced to the body.

"Hold on I'll be right there!"

She shouted loudly to the body. Wether the body was alive or dead she didn't want to think abou it. She dropped to her knees in front of it panting. She put her ear to the, what she now relised, man's chest. She could hear uneven and labored breaths.

"Okay, Kagome girl you can do this. Right? Right..."

She was talking to herself. Something she got from living on her own for so long. She shook her head clearing her head of any thoughts. She looked at the man's face. Even though he was covered in gashes and blood was dripping from his lips he was beautiful.

She blushed at the thought. Well it was just her luck that she would find a guy. Almost dead. ON HER PRIVATE BEACH. She blew out a sigh. Her luck sucked.

A/N - This was short. I know. It is a prologue. It is soposto be that way. I will get back to this story soon!
