Kagome was seeing red- not the scarlet kind that came with love or the bright orangish kind that came with sunsets, but the raw, bloody red that was associated with anger. She wanted to stomp her feet, throw a tantrum, and punch something. But she refrained and instead took a few deep breaths.
It was known that she didn’t get along with her neighbor but this was just wrong. He had broken what looked like a dozen eggs all over her welcome carpet. And now her brand new boots were ruined. Growling, she looked at his driveway and promised retribution.
