A/N- I haven't updated my other story because over this christmas break my house was broken into and my old computer was stolen while I was away. So now I have to start from scratch which is really fustrating. I decided to start posting a new story because its been harder than I expected to get back into the groove of " Unexpectedly A Mother" (all my notes and pervious chapters of this fic have been lost) and I really wanted to start back writing as soon as possible. Right now its easier to start on something new, while I try to get back into my unfinished stories, but I will, WILL, be updating them soon. Sorry for the incoveience, and I hope you all enjoy this new work of mine. Also this story will be dark, that means everything goes and I won't apologize for it, which is why I'm warming you guys now that this story will be very (MA) adults only!!!!
P.S I do NOT!!! own Inuyasha or any related characters. The OC and plot are all mine :)

Kagome sighed and rubbed her aching back. She had been pulling weeds and harvesting vegetables from her meager garden since sunrise and still only two baskets where full. She knew her parents would be unhappy with her, but she had no control over the earth and how fast the plants chose to grow.
Standing stiffly to her feet, Kagome hefted the two baskets and began the march back to the main house. It was almost mid-day and if there wasn’t a hot meal on the table when the rest of the family arrived, her father wouldn’t be happy to say the least.
Minutes later Kagome rushed into the kitchen and began throwing together a quick meal. She never understood why she was forced to do all the chores when it was obvious that her family had more than enough money to afford proper servants.
Hearing voices in the entryway, Kagome swiftly piled serving dishes high with food before dashing into the dinning room to set the table properly. She was carrying the last steaming tray in, when the side door was thrown open and her family entered.
“Good afternoon, father, mother, Haku. How was your trip to town?” Kagome greeted, and asked politely. She was ignored mostly, except for Haku’s contemptuous smirk.
Waiting until the others were seated, Kagome gingerly slid into her own seat at the far end of the table.
“What do you think you’re doing girl!” Her mother screeched. “Look at you, covered in filth from head to toe, how dare you think to join us as such. You can take your lunch in your room.” Kagome’s shoulders slumped at the harsh words and she stood from the table.
“Have you been drinking the new herbal tea I purchased for you?” Her father inquired before she could leave the room.
“Yes father.” She replied, the concoction was disgusting, but she drank it nonetheless. Her father dismissed her with a wave of his hand and Kagome hurried away.
That night Kagome slept fitfully, the same dream huanting her mind for as long as she could remember.

The sound of angry voices woke her from her daily napped. Her mother rushed in, the black cloth that was ever present over her beautiful eyes when she left their home gone.
“Mother?” the child called.
The woman jerked and turned to face her groggy daughter, greeting her with a stunning, if distressed, smile. “Come dear, we don’t have much time” Throwing aside dusty floor rugs the woman bent and opened the hidden door cut into the floor.“Remember how we practice Kagome, you must be completely silent until I come for you. No matter what you hear, or even if someone calls to you by name understood?”
“Yes mother.” The child relied slipping her tiny hand into her mother’s trustingly, to be lowered into the hole. Several bags were dumped into the void behind her before her mother bent on trembling knees, to kiss both her cheeks.
“Remember not a sound, not even a whisper of breath.” She warmed again before closing the door and rearranging the rugs once more.
Kagome flinched as the main door slammed open and the voices from outside entered her home.
“Come now woman don’t be foolish” Words blurred together and minutes seemed like hours, but the sounds of her beloved mothers screams kept the child frozen in her hiding place. Footsteps pattered across the floor above her.
“The village leader swears she had a small girl child living here with her.” Kagome crouched down lower, sure the trap door was about to be flung open.
“I see no traces of a child here, let’s not waste more time. I want to return to the master with our find at once. Set the cottage on fire, if there is a child here I’m sure the flames will have it scurrying out in seconds." The sninster voices receded, and her world turn to flames. Heat filled the air, and flames licked hungrily across the rugs that hid her. Kagome clawed at the door above her but it wouldn’t open, the darkness muffled her screams.

A sharp slap across the face drew Kagome from her fiery death and she looked up into dark brown eyes, immediately wishing herself back into the furnace in her nightmares.
“Having another bad dream I see, come let your dear bother make it all better for you.” Haku pulled her against his chest and chuckled nastily against her neck. Kagome fought to pull away, but cruel fingers bit into the back of her arms. Throwing himself on top of her, Haku crushed Kagome's slim body under his massive weight and fumbling hands.
“Haku! Come away from the girl” Her father commanded from the doorway the lead into the small closet that was her room. Haku groaned under his breath, and shoved her away. Refusing to meet his fathers gaze, Haku stormed angrily from the room, and then the house. Her father remained behind a second longer, looking down at her with an unreadable expression before he shut her door softly.

A few weeks later Kagome returned from the field to find her mother and father still at home.
“Kagome, I need you to go into town today. Your mother is unwell, and I must remain behind with her.” He father informed her as soon as she entered the room.
“Yes father.” She replied dutifuly.
“There is a medicine man at the edge of town that should have a special brew to aid your mother.” Turning his back to her, Kagome’s father dismissed her with a wave of his hand.
“Fix yourself up before you leave girl, I won’t have the villagers gossiping about us.” Her mother added to her back, Kagome nodded mutely.
In her room Kagome took a few seconds to wash the dirt from her face and hands, and was surprised at the vibrant color of her usually grey eyes. The beautiful color recalled a long ago memory of a woman’s face, but the memory left as fast as it had come. Dismissing the strangeness, Kagome hurried to change, eager to go into town.

Kagome wonder threw the village peeking into shops and taking in the bustling life around her. Spotting a small hut set apart from the others, Kagome quickly made her way over to it.
“Hello?” She called, pushing aside the tarp screen that acted as a door and stepped in side. Kagome caught movement out the corner of her eye, before a hard blow to the nape of her neck sent her tumbling into darkness.

When Kagome came to, she lay bond to a bed, her supple body bared for viewing.
"I'll take her." The words, full of dark promises, caused her to jerk on the bed and fight against the ropes that bound her.
"As you wish my lord." The door closed and her nightmare began.
