The Flower that Started it All

                Kagome eyed the beautiful flower presented to her from a delicate little hand.  She accepted the flower but was shocked at seeing it.  Snowdrops were rare in Japan and weren’t supposed to be found in Japan anyway.  In her time they were actually endangered and unable to be taken across borders.  She nonetheless accepted it and smiled. 

                “Thank you Rin, where did you get this?”  Rin pointed to her surrogate father and giggled.

                “Sesshomaru sama wanted to give to this to you.”  She whispered  conspiratally.  Kagome wondered if Rin realized that Sesshomaru could actually hear her. 

                “Well thank you then both of you.”  She looked at Sesshomaru and sighed.  She’d just have to figure out this mystery on her own.
