Prologue

I do not own any part of Inuyasha, just another fanfic, and my first one at that. ^.^

Many things had changed since the young girl had been brought through the well. She was no longer a young girl, Kagome was now a woman of 20 years. It had been well over a year since Kagome and her group of mismatched friends defeated the evil creature that plagued their lives. Sango and Miroku had married just a few months after the defeat of Naraku. They moved back to Sango’s village with her younger brother, and began to rebuild. It did not take long to rebuild, and for other throughout the land to hear of it. Soon the village was once again full of slayers, Sango trained most of them herself, with the help of her brother Kohaku.  She had since had once little girl and was currently pregnant with her second child, they could not be happier.

The young hanyou, Inuyasha, mated finally to the woman he loved, and was still currently living near the Goshinboku Tree. Kikyo had been revived of course, Kagome could do no less for her long time friend, and love. She gave him the one thing she could. He and Kikyo had twins, a boy and a girl, the girl had silver hair and black dog ears, with blue eyes. The boy had black hair with silver dog ears and gold eyes. They were all very happy, Inuyasha proved to make a wonderful father, and was completely devoted to Kikyo.

Shippou the little Fox Kit had gone off to join a group of fox demons that were happy to accept him into their pack. He had grown so much and his powers had grown exponentially. Kagome was so proud of him, she still saw him occasionally but not near enough for her.

Kouga the wolf demon had gone on to marry Ayame, and currently were expecting their first child. They of course still fought constantly, but were happy none the less, and could fool no one. They deeply loved one another and complemented each other perfectly. Ayame always could put Kouga in his place, and Kouga was the only one able to handle Ayame.

Sesshomaru had left his charge Rin in the care of Kaede and Kagome. She of course was a joy to have, and always eager to learn whatever the older two Priestess’ wanted to teach her. Kagome and her had become very close, almost like mother and daughter. Sesshomaru still visited Rin every week if possible, bringing presents every time. Rin missed him but she was happy, and she still got to see him plenty.

This brings us to where our story begins.
