For the Sesskag Smutmas event. I-I don't know how I managed to write a second one of these guys. I don't think I can do the full 12 days, brain, I have assignments- don't make me write these nooooo

Despite what her mate said about Christmas- he was a grinch and time hadn’t tempered that too much- Kagome happily set up a tree at their holiday cabin. They’d visited this particular cabin for five years, and it had become a tradition to get away from everything for twelve days alone. No friends, no family. Just them and the pretty landscape up in the mountains. Still, they couldn’t exactly spend the whole time in bed lazily fucking (Sesshoumaru begged to differ on that opinion) so Kagome made it a point to pack decorations every year.
Knelt by the tree, she wound lights around the branches, before easing up to wrap them around the full body. Next came the tinsel.
By the time the tree was ready for ornaments, a pale hand caught her eye, hanging up a red bauble.
Sesshoumaru glanced at her wordlessly.
Kagome smiled, "I knew you couldn't keep away from this part."
"Haven't the faintest idea of what you are alluding to, miko."
Giggling, Kagome handed up her favourite decoration- a white dog figurine chasing a moon. She’d happened upon it at a craft fair one year and fallen in love with it.
Sesshoumaru eyed the dog, noting the crudely drawn cheek stripes and crescent moon. “I have been meaning to ask this before, but did you add thos-?”
“Just pretend you didn’t notice them,” Kagome cleared her throat, straightening next to him and hanging up a plastic lantern.
Golden eyes twinkled, not budging.
With a put upon sigh, Kagome took the figurine back and handed him the star. “We didn’t find each other right away,” she mumbled, cheeks reddening. “When I got stuck in my era…it was about four years before we saw each other again, wasn’t it?”
“Hn,” the demon glided upwards into the air, putting the star at the top of the tree with ease.
“Sooo I maybe got a little lonely and sentimental,” she grumbled, rubbing the nose of the dog figurine. “That's why…I picked up this guy and added those details. It’s silly…but I felt a little closer to you whenever I hung him up at Christmas.”
Sesshoumaru blinked, descending back to the floor and immediately taking her hands in his. Clawed fingers wrapped around her, squeezing. She could still take him by surprise, even now.
“I am here now,” he said quietly.
Kagome raised her head and smiled, allowing him to draw her closer. “Yeah, you are,” she hummed, accepting his kiss against her forehead. “It made the wait worth it, seeing you again. Having this.”
“Mn,” Sesshoumaru brushed his lips against her cheek, before pulling away and gesturing to the tree. “Hang it up.”
Arching a brow, Kagome smiled and reached up to place the white dog near a reindeer ornament.
“Higher.”
Confused now, she decided to go along with it, sensing a kind of mischief emanating from her mate. It was best to follow when Sesshoumaru got into these kinds of moods.
“To the left,” he uttered then, and Kagome once more obeyed.
When he said nothing more, the miko finally hung up the dog tree decoration and paused, locating exactly what Sesshoumaru had wanted her to find.
Kagome rocked back on her heels and sighed. “Sesshoumaru, you can’t just cheat at mistletoe like that.”
He eased closer, golden eyes shining with a predatory gleam. “I did not cheat.”
“Yes, you did! You got me to deliberately move into its pathway- and when did you even hang that up- mnf?!”
Her protests were swiftly silenced by his sinuous tongue pushing past her teeth to plunder her mouth. Kagome gave a muffled growl, which inevitably wobbled into a laugh, wrapping her arms around his neck.
Sesshoumaru gave a deep rumble from his chest in response, gathering her close around the waist.
When his kisses grew more demanding, making her breath shudder, Kagome pulled away, giggling when firm lips continued raining down upon her cheeks, chin and anywhere they could reach.
“H-hey, let’s go to the bedroom.”
“No need,” another kiss pressed to her neck.
“No need? Ach!”
Large hands tugged her skirt up, simultaneously yanking her panties down slightly onto her thighs. Taking a knee, Sesshoumaru leaned in, collecting the edge of her underwear between his teeth and dragging them down the remainder of her legs. Kagome shuddered, holding onto his shoulders.
“Looks like it’s your turn to be eager,” she laughed breathlessly- the sound cutting off into a startled moan when lips crashed against her clit. Sesshoumaru lavished her with a few long, broad strokes of the tongue, giving her a hint of a fang before glancing up at the miko from beneath his lashes.
“I could not very well leave you be when you mentioned such a sorrowful memory, miko.”
Kagome ignored the heat in her cheeks and the pleasure spiking between her legs as his thumb found her sex and began stroking. Reaching down, she cupped his cheeks, cradling the former demon lord’s handsome face in her hands for a moment.
“It’s not sad to me,” she smiled down at him, blue eyes warming. “Because I’m not lonely anymore.”
Sesshoumaru blinked slowly, gentling. He then turned his face into her palm and delivered a long, reverent kiss to it. Kagome felt his care through the action. How silently but surely he conveyed his feelings. They didn’t need words, not really.
Sesshoumaru’s arms then wrapped around her legs, burying his face in her sex and thrusting his tongue deep inside her.
Kagome let out a cry, throwing her head back and seeing stars. “Se-sesshoumaru!”
Her mate was not to be deterred again. Sesshoumaru worked his mouth against her, sucking, tasting, nuzzling the bundle of nerves between her legs with single-minded fixation. As he curled his fingers inside her tight, quivering cunt, Sesshoumaru rested his cheek against Kagome’s navel and watched her cry in his arms.
Golden eyes strayed to the tree, then up to a particular white dog. He should not feel jealousy towards a Christmas ornament.
His grip tightened, and Kagome sobbed her rapture as fingers thrust and curled roughly, twisting inside her.
‘I should have been there to watch over her those years, not you,’ Sesshoumaru thought to himself, looking at the dog decoration that so closely resembled his true form. The depiction of what he should have been during that lost time when they’d been apart; her protector, her company. If only he’d found her sooner.
But one could not change the past, and he really should not feel jealousy over an ornament.
Sesshoumaru grunted and swallowed the sweet, plentiful juices flowing into his mouth as Kagome screamed above him, nails digging harshly into his shoulders.
Panting softly, slit pupils dilated at the sight of her. Kagome caught her breath, colour in her cheeks and blue eyes deep and dark like a lagoon. “What are you thinking about?” she panted, cupping his cheek once more.
Sesshoumaru leaned into her touch and smiled, giving nothing away. She was so beautiful; his perfect mate standing beneath the mistletoe.
“Nothing in particular.”
