Punishment

Author's note: I do not own the characters of "Inuyasha," nor would I want to. This is my first story here on dokuga, so please be kind to me. If you wish to know, I will be using the (Sp), which stands for "Spell Check," for words that I am unsure of.   It was not HIS fault if the youki was killed. It did not matter to him, the vermin was nothing but dirt benieth his boots. As he continued on his way back to his companions Lord Sesshomaru- Lord of the Western Lands- felt tingles along his skin. Turnig his head slightly he caught a glimps of a moving shadow. Slowly he raised his hand, then he swung his posionous wip towards a nearby tree.  The being moved quickly avoiding the whip easily, this infeareated Sesshomaru. No being- human or youki- has ever avoided his claws. Moving quickly Sesshomaru persued the interloper, following behind the shadowed being.

  Snarling in fury as the being dogged his attacks, Sesshomaru speed (sp) up his pursuit. The shadowed being stayed ahead of the Western Lord, never pausing, quickly covering the land before it, putting distance between them and letting the lord fall behind. However, the shadow stayed wothin sight of the demon lord, almost taughnting(sp) him, increasing his rage. It was not long untill the shadow left Sesshomaru behind completely in a meadow, barren of any covering.

  Slowly the demon lord took in his surrowndings (sp). His ice gold gaze flittered about the secnery(sp). Looking about but finding not even a hint of the shadow he had fallowed.

  Suddenly, there was an overwhemimg(sp) sense of power, bringing Sesshomaru to his knees. His vision spun, muscles spasumed as they shrunk, and senses dulled. Before he lost sense of reality several voices spoke as one.

"Sesshomaru, Lord of the West, for the crimes you have comitted(sp) a punishment has been chosen. You shall be given the form of a mortal pup. Until you have learned to have compasion, to be humble, and to show forgiveness(sp). This is your punishment."
