You've updated so quickly! A pleasant surprise. I find myself taking quite a liking to this chapter. The way you have presented the characters are like nothing I have read in the realm of SesshxKag fics. Neither can speak the other's species language. Sesshomaru is aloof amd has resigned within himself for some reason. I love it! Well done!

I was uncertain what to expect upon reading your summary. I honestly tend to avoid fics that are based or inspired by fairytales, however I am glad I gave your's a chance. This is very well written an I very much enjoyed your description of Sesshomaru in this as a winged creature of sorts. I realize Kagome's a mermaid, yet Sesshomaru's appearance has piqued my interest immensely. Great first chapter!
