I can't believe you made a sequal! I love this story! It's better than the first! Yes bound by corruption, is such an amazing story and the fact that you were able to top that story truly shows how amazing of a writer you are. Congratulations! I can't wait for the meetup of kikyo and kagome! I wonder how thate going to end? Hopefully on a much better note than the last reunion. lol

Ah yes, my favourite story about the conundrum that is Sesshomaru the Inugami. He's always had a playful mischievous side, however slight it may be at times. I remember his quest to corrupt her only to realize he could not. He is as you said a corrupt being in his very core. This leaves me excited for what is to come. I recall how sadistic he could be. How down right evil he was. They are now off to his home. They'll find Kikyo and Inuyasha there. This should be interesting. Perhaps Kikyo will come around. Her lover is half-demon after all. Let us hope she will not continue to be blinded by her ignorance and self righteousness. Fantastic update thank you.

Perhaps if Kagome was at an all time low or in the heat of the moment (battling Kikyo and such) Sesshomaru would say he loved Kagome. But she is still a young woman and I hope as she grows and matures she sees that it isn't always best to have the words. How many times does a man say, "I love you" then abuses his wife? How many times did Kikyo say she loved Kagome and the village, yet, not only did Kikyo lie to the village and Kagome, but Kikyo went to visit a lover and she had to have known there were bandits heading towards the village.....Even if it was just gossip from travelers and such, she had to know but in her arrogance, she probably thought the bandits wouldn't go near her village or she'd be back to defend them....Saying the words, sometimes isn't near as important as showing. I think when Kagome realizes this, while she'd love to hear the words, having Sesshomaru show he loves her is more important.After all, he tried to corrupt her for a long time thinking she was hiding from herself. While that is true to an extent, she wasn't as bad as he'd thought. And if Kagome thinks on it...she should realize the reason why Sesshomaru is so merciless to ningan is partly due to his nature, but its also from experience. It's from seeing how miko (like Kikyo) do one thing then kill a youkai/inugami for the same thing.
After all, it was Kikyo and Inuyasha that purposely went to the bandits home and murdered as many as they could then right in the middle of the battlefield had sex. When Sesshomaru was seducing Kagome in the midst of the dead bodies of the bandits, she felt shame and embarrassed.

In Kikyo's "love" for her sister, she'd kill the inugami that Kagome loves and the same one that saved her. Surely by now between Inu and Kikyo talking, they'd realize that in the time Sesshomaru had Kagome alone, he could have taken anything from her then kill her. They were already lovers for quite awhile before Kikyo and Inuyasha showed up - yet Sesshomaru was still with her. Sure Kikyo and Inu don't know their entire journey but still, if they'd open their eyes, they'd see that what they think doesn't add up to what IS.

As for Sesshomaru's darkness....that darkness protects Kagome. It is his darkness that protected her from that village from trying to hurt (or worse, kill) her. It is his darkness that in a round-about way, killed Onigumo and relieved Kagome of revenge. (He got the villagers in the pervious story to turn on Onigumo. Kagome wouldn't kill Onigumo outright but he would have been sentenced to death regardless due to his attack on all the villages). While Sesshomaru is dark and can be very cruel and merciless....he listens to Kagome. I think if Kikyo tried to kill Sesshomaru before he met Kagome and cared for her....he would have killed Kikyo without a thought and relished killing another miko hypocrite. If he went to the ningen village and got attacked, he'd probably kill the annoying ones and move one. It is due to Kagome he did not. He may have had alternative motives, but the truth is, he COULD have killed her sister and the villagers but he didn't. With Kagome's light balancing his darkness, I think his cruelty and mercilessness is tempered and not as sharp.

Not to say if ANYONE threatens what is His, that he'd take no mercy. Which makes me think.....what would he do if Kikyo and Inuyasha continue to try to kill him and/or try to take Kagome away? If Sesshomaru was in the midst of a battle, Kagome (I don't think) could kill Kikyo or Inuyasha which means they could overpower her and kidnap her and take her away from Sesshomaru.

Anyways - I am soooooo excited for this sequel! I cannot wait to read more and see how the new relationships - Kikyo/Inuyasha, Kagome/Sesshomaru, Kikyo/Kagome and such turn out......

OH.MY.GOOOOOOOOOD!!!!!! A sequel to my all time favourite SesshxKag fic of all time right here right now!!!!!!!! Bound by Corruption was absolute brilliance! I hung onto your every word I tell ya. I am a fan of all if not most of your work. I am so thrilled to see a continuation of the Inu no Kami and the Miko! More adventures for them with some love on the mix oh Hell's yuuuuuusssss.
