That scene painted with Sesshoumaru in the morning light is something I wish I had the skill to accomplish with sketching. I may give it a try, because what I saw painted was beautiful. Loving the descriptiveness, absolutely stoked to see how his memories come back!
Oh my heart, you cruel woman you! Aches for both of their sadness. You inspired emotion with this chapter, it was delightful to read (albeit a little soul crushing when you feel the emotion emanating from the characters). Love it!

AAAHH! He's back!!!!! And not happy about being interrupted. I so want to know what all is going through his mind! this Story has kept me on the edge of my seat and I am very much looking forward to more!!! Poor Nathan, lol.

Oh, man. Kagome's emotions are so hard and real in this.
This all ties together so well. I love seeing the normal struggles mixed with the unique ones. And Nathan's character is really awesome.
Doggo Sesshoumaru needs a hug, lol. Really love though that it's like theyve awakened each other.
1) So glad to see the boyfriend gone.
2) Lower lip quiver for Sessh losing his pack and all the feels there.
3) THAT'S RIGHT, KAGOME. TAKE HIM HOME!

I love the build-up and questions all of this raises. Not knowing whats going on with him keeps me reading, and I'm stupid excited to see what happened and why. And if he comes back as the dai we all know.

Yes! He's finally back!! And Nathan is surprisingly VERY chill. He really does remind me of Miroku at moments. Definitely interested to see where this story goes from here and if demons possibly come back to the world. I also have the lingering sad thought that Sesshomaru brought up, about Kagome one day dying as well. Oh well, all things in time. Thanks for the update!

Your writing is beautiful. I love the story you're giving voice to and while I absolutely do hope for more I feel very grateful for what you have created here. Thank you for sharing it and coming back to it years later.
My favourite line was "Fairytales are just the remnant of nightmares" and I loved how you referenced Ozymandias. It was a brilliant way of discussing the ethics of Kagome's choice to restore Sess to himself or not.
