Ended up writing this extra review to address the "concerns" another reviewer has made sometime ago. ~clears throat~ Now, flying off the handle doesn't make other people take you seriously "really". Looks like some forget that this is FanFiction, which is all about possibilities and what-ifs. Every type of fanfiction, cannon/au etc have their own audience. People have their preferences and if something doesn't go down well with you, then quit it right there but, don't go ranting like a crazed banshee.

It is both churlish and childish. Plus, there are enough dokuga fics which portray some characters in a negative light. Its all about creating the atmospher the 'author' wants in their story. Now quoting "she probably would have been stoned". You do know right just because something wasn't the norm in a time-period, didn't mean that they never happened?

And its like northpeach said, it's not about being a real fan or not, or paying attention or not, its about molding the characters the way YOU want for YOUR story.

It is so wonderful to see an update to this fic after so long ! This is my all time fav fic and I ended up turning into mush in all my happiness of finally getting an update. <hugs you> I love the details and esp. the tender affection that is growing stornger betwewn Kagome and Sesshou. I also love how you painstakingly define the emotions and the fascinating background in this fic. It is almost as if you can see the story playing as movie in your mind. :)

You're such a genius for writing such a beautiful fic! ~kisses hands~ I'm really wishing for more quicker updates, just because the wait is terribly agonizing. ;)

Oh, Advi, how do I love thee?  Let me count the ways.  I love your imagery, the vivid word pictures color your writing.  Not just to describe characters, or nature, or buildings, but action as well!  That's really hard, and you excell at it!  Drama!  No review needed, the story speaks for itself, when it comes to drama.  What an epic, epic story.  Characterization, definitely.  I love your take on our heroes.  I can just picture them, you make them so true to life.  Advi, you rock.

Very true in the edo class system back then in Japanese history, only higher class citizens like nobility, Daimyo, and such where given or  to have surnames while lower class citizens like peasants, farmers ect did not.

It’s been a while since I had to go back and red this from the first chapter but I do know I did not finish form the last chapter I rea of the interesting story.

I know I just reviewed, but I noticed other's reviews that caught my attention. Apparently they don't understand that this is FANFICTION. You don't have to stick to the characters real personalities, or even the same setting. You take a book/movie/manga/anime that you like and you write a FICTION. This is a Sesshomaru/Kagome pairing and everyone knows Kagome ended up with Inuyasha, fanfiction means you don't have to stick to the head cannon. It's not about being real fans or not.
