These are nice and touching updates to this story. I would really like to see Inuyasha's POV. I'm sure he is pissed, hurt, upset and definitely sad about losing Kagome and possibly his pack. And I wouldn't be surprised if he took his emotions out on a few trees and maybe some of the guards if he catches wind of them. Anyway, looking forward to see what happens next.

Here I am, alone in my room, aww-ing over a nonreal couple. . sigh.

I hope Sango and Miroku take Sesshomaru and Kagome up on the offer to live at the palace. That would really be good for Kagome to keep them close by, especially a female companion. Looks like Inuyasha is truly on his own. Talk about being in denial of Kagome's feelings. If only Sesshomaru reiterated his offer to be accepted as an heir of the West. Looks like that went out the window with him leaving. But I don't blame Sesshomaru for keeping Kagome away from him. Hope he sees the light. It'll probably take some divine intervention to get it through his head about Kagome choosing Sesshomaru since Sango and Miroku can't do it. Besides, Sesshomaru bribing and bending people to his will with spells are so beneath him. He has more honor than that. I don't know. Can't wait for more.

Well, well, well. I guess in this case, hell hath no fury over a hanyou scorned. Then again, everyone else was a bit too vague with Inuyasha. With him, people have to be clear when speaking with him. And I think that even though he left to protect Kikyou in the final battle, even though she was on her very last moments of 'un-life', Kagome is acting a bit too much like a bitch with Inuyasha. I get where she's coming from after what's happened, but the way she acts is a little too harsh. It looks like some intervention is going to be needed if Sesshomaru wants to keep his promise to his mate-to-be.

Ouch, Miroku ~ you shouldn't be too harsh on him, regardless of how... well, you know, how Inuyasha he is.

Inuyasha is definitely not taking any of this news well at all. So what happens now with him? Will everyone leave him behind? Or will Sesshomaru take him in as well? Hmm, so many questions. I kinda feel for him.
