A great update for such an amazing fic.  I love that you're addressing what's going on outside of the bubble that Kagome and Sesshomaru are in and have introduced another character!  Great choice, by the way.  

And Grandpa's slip about "Not foretold..."  I'm sensing a prophecy or something intriguing.

I always look forward to updates on this, 'Substitute Groom,' 'Pack' (pleeeeeease?), and 'Like Mother, Like Son.'  Such great reads and anticipate seeing them completed one day.

This Fanfiction in absolutely amazing, I love it! The melancholy makes it all the better.

I'm hooked. it has a melancholy with a touch bittersweet and budding joy feel to it. I wonder what happened to everyone and how did sesshoumaru's beast took control. it was very endearing watching the beast warming up to kagome and those cuddling moments.

This is a very lovely version of the Beauty and the Beast story, my above all favourite fairy tale. I'm thoroughly enjoying the delve into Sesshoumaru's bestial side, and his reactions to Kagome. It would be fair to say that I would not mind a continuation of that - Kagome testing certain limits, as well as the Beast doing so, while Kagome finds more clues to what happened, because I have to say, I've no idea! Sesshoumaru mentioned Inuyasha succumbing to his powers, so it must have happened after Inuyasha's death, but Rin is still a child, so it couldn't have been more than 10 years after the well.

I wonder where Shippo is. Sesshoumaru survived behind his barrier, but perhaps Shippo found a way to survive to the future? Perhaps he would have an inkling to what happened, as he is the only one I can think of that would have any chance of knowing due to his relation to Inuyasha and thus potentially Sesshoumaru. Kouga likely would live to the future as well, but I don't think he'd be deemed close enough to the Inus to have been around to know what happened except by secondary instances, such as hearing about it. Shippo may well potentially have witnessed something.

I look forward to seeing where you go with this, and if any other characters may make appearances, though for now, as I said, I'm THOROUGHLY enjoying the interactions between Kagome and the Beast.

Just read all the chapters posted thus far in a single go, and the first word that comes to mind is "charming". Some mystery, a more convincing-than-usual "two sides of Sesshomaru" characterization, and the tragic little touches (Rin's spirit, Ah-Un's and Jaken's fate) make for a lovely story. 

I am really enjoying this story! Keep updating!! It is fun to read; I want to figure out what happened!
