Man this was beautiful,sad, and just plain amazing!!! i was literally bawling!!! i love this story, you did an outstanding job.:)

Bah! What a great story. I am so glad it is based on a real story of a child living through such a horrible disease! I even cried a few times...Man...You did a wonderful job of conveying the pain and hope of all the characters.

Oh my goodness, you are an amazing writer. I can tell so much feeling and effort has been put into this. I'm surrounded by discarded tissues right now. I'm so happy with the ending. If it had  been anything else I think I may have gone into depression.. SUch a beautiful story. Heart-wrenching yet heart-warming. You are such an amazing writer. And I'm hope the real little boy Kyle is in good health and happy right now <3 You really high lighted what the families of sick children go through. 

I cried like a baby in this chapter. Seriously, Shippo and Rin ae too adorable. And that hair scene broke my heart </3

Oh jeebus. The update notification has been sitting in my inbox, and I've been writing and putting off reading it because I was genuinely afraid of Shippou dying. 

Rin's speech was profound and utterly innocent, and made me sniffle. I'm glad I finished the story, and I'm glad you wrote it. Well written.

What a wonderful end to a truly amazing, beautiful, touching, heartfelt story.  I am so glad that Kyle will be going home and will keep him in my thoughts, even as I hope for something similar to happen for my nephew.  He still has years of treatment most likely, but there is ALWAYS hope - and that's the main thing I took from this story.  No matter how dark it is, there is always hope.  Thank you so very much for sharing this with us all!!!

Wow!  I really enjoyed this story and ended it with tears in my eyes.  Then to read your author's note about Kyle.  All I can say is just...wow.  God bless little Kyle, his family, and all the people who take care of sick kids like him so they can get better and get on with their lives.  Thank you for this lovely, lovely story.
