This is exactly what I need to read on a quiet morning - a compelling, powerful oneshot which speaks volumes with simple words. I enjoyed the way you portrayed the love between the two of them - it is not heated passion which we are so used to seeing. Rather, it is a deep, steadfast love which expresses itself through concern, support and faith.
Also, i could almost smell the spirits with your awesome description. It sure added to the melancholy lingering in the story.
