I like how Hoshihikari is digging for information on just why Kagome is Sesshoumaru's mate. A part of me can't help but wonder if she already knows the truth of how it was forced upon them, especially when she has said things like "purify us all, him first among us". I also liked the panic that Kagome feels when the Shikon is mentioned, and how she barely restrains herself from unleashing in the face of a threat that is not really a threat.

I think that I am going to like Hoshihikari. She is definitely uncertain about Kagome, but she has not dismissed her outright. This can only (hopefully) mean good things for Kagome... and will get Sesshoumaru to calm down a bit about the safety of her and her place in his house.
