I had an idea similar to this (well, not the flower rain, mind you, that was GENIUS) for this challenge but I feel you wrote it way better than anything I would have been able to think of. It had a nice touch of humor and I liked the dynamics between the characters (and the paragraph talking about their reactions in succession made me smile). Good job!
