I just had a feeling this meeting wasn't going to be a good one. Most parents would at least be grateful and curtious if they found their child was safe especially since it was his choice not to inquire her whereabouts to ALL the closest neighbors even if she was relatively new. When Sesshoumaru wants to convey his dislikes or disapproval of something, everyone knows it! If Kagome wants a friendship with Rin, he's going to make it difficult.  JEN

Thank goodness everything is ok now between Sesshoumaru and Kagome.  I'm so glad that she has forgiven him for the way he treated her at the police station.  Now Rin's Christmas wish has a better chance of coming true.  Please post again soon!  Can't wait for your next update!

This story is so awesome. I'm glad Sesshoumaru was able to pull himself together and also I am proud that Kagome declined his offer at first. Can't wait to see the sexual tension start to build between then ;)

This is turning out just lovely.  The characterizations are serious and fun at the same time, and Rin is too adorable for words!  I definitley look forward to more of this wonderful gem.  Thank you!

I know that this is going to be a romance, but I hope that Kagome gives him the cold shoulder for awhile.  While any parent might react in a similar manner, his continued treatment of her goes beyond the pale. 

Wow... Sesshoumaru's an ass...a justifiable ass at the time, nonetheless...still an ass.  To think poor Rin going through all this hardship just to have Santa bring her a mommy...le sigh.. best things happen to those that wait, i guess.

Off to a fantastic start already. I love every story you've written anyway. And they are so vastly different from each other. You should really truly think about writing your own books. I'd like so buy them. Yura should be killed, well her credibility anyway (sigh). I seriously hate people that mistreat children. Is he the REAL Santa?  I was at a plant nursery with a biker friend of mine, who is a huge, rough old guy with a big white beard.  A lady came up and asked if her son could talk to him.  That surprised me.  What surprised me more was my friend picked this tiny (maybe two year old?) kid up, and the kid asked him if he was the REAL Santa.  Jerry told him that he was, and proceeded to have this very serious conversation with him, on behalf of Santa.  It was soooo sweet!  (good thing he wasn't wearing his trucker hat that says 'show me your t**s that day)...  So maybe, there IS a REAL Santa, that lives in the hearts of big old guys that are kind and gentle with kids...   

Bad bad Sesshy! You should be punished :P And I know just the girl to do it :P

Poor Kagome.  Thank goodness she was there for Rin.  I think Sesshoumaru is right.  After the way he's treated her and the things he said, I think he is lucky that Kagome is such a forgiving person.  Sesshoumaru is such a typical man, so blind to the manipulations of women.  I hope he makes sure that Yura's reputation is ruined after this!  Great update!

Kagome is such an amazing character and I like the way she interacts with Rin!

To see her finally redeemed in front of Sesshomaru and to have him see the reality of the situation made this an excellent chapter!! I usually don't care much for the holidays, but in this case, this makes a wonderful gift for the season, one that we unwrap little by little with each chapter and that is what the season is all about, not the money or material things,but the things that make our hearts sing and put a smile in our faces!!
