That little bit of conversation at the end had just the right tone to give this very sad moment a lift. I think we all needed that. Kagome doesn't need to heap all that blame on herself. Your chapters length and pace are perfect.

So so so good this last chapter!! This brief moment of reprieve is definitely for poor Kagome.  I am thinking sesshomary did it on purpose his speech! You write so beautifully. Cant wait for the next chapter but of course rest!!

I don't know how you can make me tear up and then grin in like 1000 words but here we are. I feel oddly guilty about the little rush of humour I got there. This Villin can't wait for the next chapter. ????

Ok! So that little scene at the end of 5 makes up for suffering thru previous chapters. Well, it was good suffering at least--these chapters were not overwrought, floridly written wangst-fests as the subject matter can encourage from some. Thank you for dealing with the events with such a deft hand. 

Would also like to add the interaction between Sesshoumaru and Kagome is fantastic. You really do write them well, imo. Eh, back to work.

Holy crap this is so good already. You amaze me with all of your wonderful stories and they're so imaginative. The best part of my day is coming home to find that you've updated. It brings me inexplicable joy!! Thank you for bringing this to life! Thank you for your time and can't believe you have the time to edit almost every day!! 

Oh man, poor Miroku and Co.! That is pretty cool how Kagome noticed the tracks that told her Sesshoumaru was there before he found her. He must've scented her dragging Shippou's carcass around T.T I love when an author references something a character said earlier that is given more context as the story progresses. Can't wait for more!

You made me cry, I don't cry easily. You have talent for bringing out emotions. I have read many stories where Kagome lost her group of friends but you are maybe the only one that made me cry. 

Excuse me while I sob uncontrollably. This is sad. You have made me sad. Very well done.

while kagome's heartache hurts to read, i am still giggling at their banter. it's cool how you showed that things were happening outside of her pov makes the story feel more rounded. thanks for updating so quickly!
