Arc-an Angel (Chapter 12) - Sun 14 Mar 2021

You have a gift with your writing to convey sadness and the inner weight of a character, while still allowing layers of light to shine. It's really stopped this story from being too heavy or rather one tone...and is so appreciated. I'm loving the seemingly natural flow of Kagome's growth and also the development of Sesshomaru and her's relationship. Excited for the next chapter.

Lauren (Chapter 12) - Mon 08 Mar 2021

I forgot what happened in this fic, so I'll need to reread it. Glad to see you're doing well, though. Hugs to the puppy!

Ninetails (Chapter 1) - Thu 08 Oct 2020

ashley jepp (Chapter 11) - Sat 06 Jun 2020

Great!! Love it!! My only qurstion is... is Kagome‘s face still scared/covered?? Bc it was a big part of the story and not its not addressed anyone.. like wouldnt sesshimaru ask her about the face cover sango made her? Wouldnt the villager?? Or has it healed??

Blommie8 (Chapter 11) - Thu 04 Jun 2020

But i like the way you write it. Simple....because english is not my language. Just like to read english stuf and sesskag ff.

susie (Chapter 11) - Thu 04 Jun 2020

this was really cool.  i got excited when he stepped in to help her with her form.  he wants her to hang around, but i wonder if he knows what for yet.  he has to know what he was doing to her right?  is it seduction?  and does he know he's doing it?

VS (Chapter 10) - Wed 27 May 2020

Hello,

it's really interesting to read how both handle their loss. And it's surprising to see that in some ways Sesshoumaru is handling his better? At least healthier. He accepted Rin's decision and for him it is enough to know she is doing well with occasional visits. Of course he needs time to get used to her absence.

Kagome on the other hand seems not to be able to find a purpose in life. I was surprised to find out she is taking classes in combat and mediation. At least her days are somewhat structured. Her drinking habits are worrisome, though at least she still has the strenght to decline an offer of sake. Kagome won't be able to hold onto life much longer if nothing changes. While she should not forget about Inuyasha and the future, she has to accept her life in the past. Acceptance is something Sesshoumaru seems to better at - at least where Rin is concerned.

Maybe Sesshoumaru will be able to help her find a purpose? At least a temporary at first?

Your writing is really expressive and I like that very much. You are doing well!

Bylee (Chapter 10) - Fri 15 May 2020

I truly admire Kagome for being strong. I would be pissed! I would be resentful as fuq! I would be drinking and drugging my way into bitter oblivion. With her face half melted off, there went her chances of a family! If it was in the 21st century she could still go for some recon surgery but she in a chauvinistic era in history???? imagine How much pain she's in seeing Sango having her happily ever after while Inuyasha is dead and she can't even go home! Now her face is broken! People gawking and throwing pitying glances like they are running out mxm...

Thanks for the update

Lillmaru (Chapter 10) - Mon 11 May 2020

This was a beautiful chapter. I loved the poetry that flowed with each word. You painted a very deep emotional and psychological scene of Sesshomaru's internal conflict within himself. I hope you never abandon this story.

Blommie8 (Chapter 9) - Sat 09 May 2020

I hope there some more progress for kagome's sacr and her relationship

Sammyjams (Chapter 9) - Mon 04 May 2020

She's finally coming into herself!

KEdakumi (Chapter 9) - Sun 03 May 2020

Can't wait to see what the problem is and if she has to fight with nasty humans as well.

Lauren (Chapter 7) - Fri 24 Apr 2020

Poor Sesshomaru, all that ignored guilt over causing Kagome’s inury and subsequent alcoholism is eating him up inside. Couple that with Rin’s absence and he’s an emotional wreck.

Mecca (Chapter 7) - Sun 19 Apr 2020

Ah, I always love me a troubled and angsty Sesshy. It seems like he has always anticipated losing Rin to a human society - he knew it was inevitable. What I think is bothering him is poor Kagome and her current state of affairs, what with being disfigured and his involvement in it and how the spirit of what she was is diminished because of it. I'm eager to find out how it would change their dynamic. I have always liked reading canon divergent stories where Kagome and Sesshomaru begin their relationship where the manga pretty much left off - not quite on friendly terms but civil, maybe even subtly familial. Of course that could only mean a slow burn but I've never had a problem with that, so long as there is a clear ending in sight and the author doesn't fail to deliver the goods! ;) Your writing is wonderful, with distinct imagery and great word selection. I love when an author clearly uses a thesaurus to good use! Please update soon! While I'm sad Kagome is horribly (?) disfigured, hopefully some magic happens where her face gets restored because Sesshomaru can't forgive himself otherwise. Or it can be just like Phantom of the Opera style where she just wears a mask the whole time.

WiccanMethuselah (Chapter 6) - Mon 13 Apr 2020

I find myself more and more intrigued with where this story is heading... and more and more enjoying the journey there! Can't wait to see what happens when our naive miko realizes that she accosted the great Sesshoumaru-sama's person! Excellent story thus far, looking very much forward to more!

:D

VS (Chapter 6) - Sun 12 Apr 2020

Hello,

I really like your story so far!

Sesshoumaru injuring Kagome by accident is not something I have come across often. Probably because people tend to portray him as perfect. Kudos for that!

The pace of the story is nice, you tend to write from Sesshoumaru's POV, that's interesting. I would have liked to read more of his thoughts regarding Kagome's injury and the part he played. Especially now where he sees that something is wrong with her...

Inuyasha's story was heart wrenching! His last words said so much about him and his love towards Kagome, even if it wasn't a romantic one. The pieces are coming to place and I start to understand Kagome's inner side better.

The end of this chapter was really cute. Kagome understands him in a way that even Rim couldn't compete with. Both are kind of broken and vulnerable at the moment. Although he expected Rin to leave him some day, the pain he is feeling right now is real.

I'm not quite sure where you are going with this story... guess I will have to wait and find out. :)

Lorena (Chapter 5) - Thu 09 Apr 2020

Shippo! I didn't expect him honestly. It makes me happy and sad to know just how deep this is now... Her son sees the obvious. It seems to me this goes beyond vanity, but she seems like she's trying to make the best of it... is there something i havent seen yet? I am more eager to figure out Kagome's frame of mind than i was Sesshomaru's future involvement with her, and i did NOT think that was possible

Nilee1 (Chapter 4) - Sun 05 Apr 2020

How can he not feel responsible, see no need to make amends? What will Rin think when she learns of his mistake?

Neelixonee (Chapter 3) - Mon 30 Mar 2020

Ouch, acid burns are terrible!  I hope to see how she deals with this in coming chapters, and with how Sesshoumaru handles it.

Lorena (Chapter 3) - Sun 29 Mar 2020

I get more and more excited for the future chapters! I'm curious how this'll go- I'm thinking Kagome will shut down if it takes Sesshomaru wanting to come back, but i hope it wont be that way...like she's a badass in all things, but quick to avoid all things in matters of appearance~ Dont listen to me though, its a mix of worry for her
