Barredwindows (Chapter 43) - Tue 05 Nov 2019

Kagome used to have a spine, that spine became incredibly crooked during her youki phase. Now that spine has disappeared entirely. She was dealing with other things, namely a very hormonal pregnancy, she couldn't up and leave for the West to personally inform His Royal Highness of her condition. Meanwhile, he repeatedly ignored Inyuyasha's multiple attempts to get him to go South because he was too busy f**king Touran. On top of that he has the gall of saying how Inuyasha, unlike someother people understood the importance of loyalty. You are one to talk Sess, you threw Kagome under the bus and decided she wasn't worth the trouble because you are so incredibly loyal.  I'm sorry but I'm done with this Sesshomaru. Kagome deserves better. I have never thought this once in any of the other fanfictions but Kagome and Sesshomaru are just not doing it for me as a  couple. They're better off apart. If they must reconcile, I want Sesshomaru to acknowledge that he was equally at fault.

Jamie (Chapter 43) - Tue 05 Nov 2019

Seriously... the idiot had been told to go talk to her for how long? And SHE'S the one hiding it from HIM?! No. No, no, no. Just no. And he has the audacity to lay hands on her when she's trying to apologize for her side of the mess? Even more nope. Girl needs to get a grip on herself and understand that just because you love him don't mean anything is left when he touches you in anger. She can most definitely do better!!

Goldie Fawn (Chapter 43) - Tue 05 Nov 2019

Sorry to double post but dammit Sess! You're brother had been telling you to go see her for a reason! How can he be mad that she 'hid this' from him when he was told to go see her! GAH!

Goldie Fawn (Chapter 43) - Tue 05 Nov 2019

I'm sad ;_; Everything is on fire, the world might as well be ending. I see no hope for these two. To quote The Room, "YOU'RE TEARING ME APART SUSIE!!!" Whyyyyyyyyyyyy.

The-infamous-one (Chapter 42) - Tue 05 Nov 2019

Ooooo. Like damn him. He admitted that it took him a long time to master himself, and throws her to the wolves when it gets bad.  Now he has seen all the amazing things she's done and he's sour.  She mastered the chaotic powers inside her in a year. And now he's butt hurt and using touran.   I have a feeling like the other viewers that she had s child. And I'm so hoping that when he finds out he has a laps of control  and TRIES to kiss kagome. But she gently  reminds him of his words of engagement to touran and denys him. Sweet karma.

 But anywho, please update soon!

punkish furball (Chapter 42) - Mon 04 Nov 2019

So I've been reading this from start to present for the past couple days (you update so frequently I have to play catch up), and there's a lot to unpack.  First and foremost, I love this story, it is phenomenal, and you are a great writer. If I had to pick one thing I love the most it would be the relationships between Inuyasha and Sesshomaru and Inuyasha and Kagome. They feel completely natural and in character. I also like how you handled Kagome's change (even though she did go nutter butters, but I told myself you wouldn't leave our girl all fucked up like that).

Usually when I read that Sesshomaru  either intentionally  or unintentionally changes Kagome even making her full on demon, he isn't unhappy with the change and leaves her because of it. That being said, Sesshomaru is the character I'm most upset with. Dude knew what was happening to her yet did nothing to help ease this transformation and got butt hurt and bailed when what he knew was gonna happen happened. It seems like everyone just expected Kagome to be okay after such a drastic thing happened to her and to figure it out on her own. If anything, I thought that everything that lead to her becoming the heir of the south was the biggest and most obvious cry for help, but Sesshomaru  still did nothing. Granted, Kagome was responsible for her actions, but she owned up to it and spent the year seemingly being the ruler the south needed and easing up on the separatism. I can tell she is grown and am curious to see how she handled the aggression when she was apart from Sesshomaru and what lingering effects are still present. Even Inuyasha managed to forgive her, and, with as close as he is to Sesshomaru, that's saying something. Meanwhile, Sesshomaru spent the year pushing his feelings to the side and throwing himself a pity party. His feelings toward Kagome are completely valid, but he's not dealing with them the right way. He's stringing along poor Toran and clearly hasn't learned anything about being in a relationship where both partners endure and support each other. He won't let Kagome finish a sentence and accuses her of being spiteful and manipulative  (which she was earlier on but at least be mature in public dude).

Personally, Sesshomaru had some redeeming to do, and hope Kagome's old attitude with her newfound control of the aggression is here to stay. Of the two of them, Kagome seems like she'd be the bigger person and would even step away from Sesshomaru  once she's said her piece if he asked. I'm looking forward to the conclusion, and, since I'm craving some fluff, I'll finish The Practice Girl! X3

Also, sorry if I'm rambling. I had a lot to say. Update as soon as you can! Until next time, TCB!

ladyhikikomori (Chapter 42) - Mon 04 Nov 2019

I agree with other reviewers. It's maddening how everyone blames Kagome entirely for what occurred. Obviously Sesshomaru wasn't in love with Kagome as he let the first bump in the road turn him from her. All of the characters are unlikable to some degree. At this point I would be disappointed for anybody to end up together and since it seems to be going in the direction of Kagome having had Sesshomaru's child I don't even know what to say.

Bella (Chapter 42) - Mon 04 Nov 2019

So Kagome is basically at fault for everything??? I love how she's the only one who tries to help herself when it's not her fault that she has youki in her. Sesshomaru should have helped her to gain control and that's that. Maybe Kagome should just have a heir with someone else just incase and leave Sesshomaru alone. He still loves her and she still loves him but too much has happened and he abandoned her, she only chose to leave to the South and become heir after he refused to help her... I know that they don't have all the answers but, it's just better that way. Kagome gave him her love and he turned on her too, even after his youki damaged her... she can do better and he can do right by his lands.

Jamie (Chapter 42) - Mon 04 Nov 2019

So not liking Fluffy's whole "I'm with Touran now" thing... Rebound much? He ain't over Kags... just like she ain't over him. Likely never will be.

So how long until he meets the diaper-clad cause of mama's "hormonal" issue, and how long after that will it be before his head had been removed from his arse?

cassandra (Chapter 42) - Mon 04 Nov 2019

Oh my god! Really!? Touran totally moved in on Sesshomaru while he was vulnerable. Though he’s not mister innocent. He could have stayed away from her and tried to work things out with Kagome. And now he’s going to mate someone he obviously doesn’t care about. besi he knew Kagome was trying to sort out the newpowers flowing through her. What a mess! I hope they work thin out and get back together.

Arc-an Angel (Chapter 42) - Mon 04 Nov 2019

Honestly, I've been fighting to continue this story ever since Kagome started behaving funny. The path their relationship had taken so suddenly surprisingly turned me off from their connection. I hate even writing this and completely understand this is your story and their journey, so I apologize if this is taken as being snarky in anyways. I just don't even want to see them together anymore or know how it ends after reading all of those chapters of her behavior (Youkai influenced or not). I'll stick in there because I do respect your writing and want to see how you end this but as a reader the change was painful and shocking.

Goldie Fawn (Chapter 42) - Mon 04 Nov 2019

I don't know if these two can even get back together. I mean she was full blown bonkers, how can Sess ever trust himself to get back together with her. Heck,  I'm surprised InuYasha is still friends with her. And why did she ease up on her separatist state idea? Did Kikyo ever calm down or did she stay aggressive from Inuyasha's youki?

D (Chapter 42) - Mon 04 Nov 2019

I dislike Sesshomaru’s approach as well. His youki was responsible for her altered state of mind and he just informed her of the problem and left her to deal with it on her own. When things got too difficult he started questioning if she was worth the trouble and gave her an ultimatum without actually trying to help. Then he moved straight on to someone else and basically abandoned her. I understand Kagome was being a real pill, but she wasn’t in the right state of mind due to being with him. Like Kagome said, real love can endure and overcome obstacles where puppy love cannot. So every time things get difficult Sesshomaru will abandon her and act like Kagome was the only one at fault and was the one who betrayed him. At least Kagome is owning up to her mistakes, but he doesn’t see his own faults. I actually like this story, but Sesshomaru needs to own up or step aside. As far as I’m concerned, it’s like abandoning your significant other when they develop a fixable illness instead of enduring it by their side.

Barredwindows (Chapter 42) - Mon 04 Nov 2019

I know we're on the last leg of this story but my dislike for Sesshomaru is pretty much set. This whole last chapter was him on a woe is me tirade which I'm getting sick of. It was your youki that caused this, the least you could've done is stick around for at least a little more time to see what was wrong with her. This whole council thing BARELY lasted for a week or so and he'd already given up on her. Wasn't true love supposed to be enduring and the whole song and dance?? Yes, Kagome's switch was extreme (not a fan of her for that whole thing btw) but Sesshomaru's poor, tender heart breaking is just too much. I just want him to at least acknowledge that he's the reason she flipped a switch like she did. At this point I'm hoping she has a child that was fathered by him and maybe she's planning on getting mated/married to someone else. Maybe that'll wake HIM up.

Loving your stories and frequent updates btw. Looking forward to your other works

Sessygurl (Chapter 42) - Mon 04 Nov 2019

I'm betting on theory of what had Kagone occupied. I bet she was pregnant and that is why she wants to tell him. Plus this is also why she can control the youki, she had extra from the child. I would think Sesshoumarus demonic seed would overpower modern medicine. Just a theory though. Thanks for the update.

Miss C (Chapter 42) - Mon 04 Nov 2019

Sorry, but this story started out good and fizzled in the middle. I was really losing interest in the story.

Superpaints (Chapter 41) - Sun 03 Nov 2019

I started reading this morning and now I'm all caught up. So much cringe but you're so good at resolving it! You hooked me after you resolved the Kouga tryst so elegantly. I can't wait to see how this plays out.  I miss kindhearted Kagome and I trust you'll bring her back to us!

Nicole (Chapter 41) - Sun 03 Nov 2019

Love the store. But it's frustrating that people are turning their backs on Kage. It's Sesshoumaru's power in her that is doing this, shouldn't he be able to help her control it. But things get to difficult for him to handle and he turns his back on her. Shame on Sesshoumaru. Love is about the good times and bad. Learn to deal better.

Nilee1 (Chapter 41) - Sun 03 Nov 2019

Just not liking this Kagome...Why hasn't it occurred to her that it just might be her current actions that account for the absence of demons that she sees in the future! She's the one drawing the line in the sand. It will lead to war, and one side or the other may not survive.  What a bitch, and I don't mean that in the canine sense...Poor Inuyasha "half-breed" really. If and when she comes to her senses, she has a great deal of penance to do.

Jess (Chapter 41) - Sun 03 Nov 2019

Is it bad that I want Touran and sesshomaru to end up together.
