I love how this chapter turned out. And the  way any Inuyasha brought some  understanding between the brothers. 

don't give us too many hints about what will happen and when it will happen. Can't wait to see how you build this up

I wonder if kagome's theory is correct? I hope lady riko does conceive. That will give kagome even more allies. Humsn soldiers roaming....sounds like trouble indeed. Wonder how they got there? Will inukimi acknowledge kagome's place or fight to the death or challenge her? Looking forward to the next chapter.

great banquet scene!  I love the details of the high yokai courts, and am excited to see these new characters fleshed out/brought more into play in the story!  There is SO much you could do with this foundation you have laid!  I could easily see this story being over 60 chapters, if not 100.  I personally enjoy longer stories that are full of intrigue, and dialogue, and unhurried character and plot development.

The details that keep me on the edge of my seat are:  Sesshomaru's personality and how family oriented he is now.... how gentle and gentlemanly he is, especially with these human females in his family... Kagome having such a place of importance in the Western family, and her undoubtedly powerful child that she is carrying... How she will assert her influence (albeit gentle and balanced) over the palace and yokai court... and how that transition will occur once Inuyasha has passed.

maybe he dies right before the baby is born, and she will need the support of Sesshomaru's yokai to have a healthy and successful delivery.  It will be his duty as the alpha to keep her from falling into despair after Inuyasha's passing and to help keep the pup in touch with the missing yokai her father.

I think my jaw hit the floor with this interaction between Sesshomaru and InuYasha!  Well written and inspired to take this route!  I am not the greatest fan of InuYasha's character but I can see how you are drawing on his amiable qualities, and giving depth to his and Kagome's relationship.

so, is the well closed in your story, or is she just to pregnant to travel home?

How sad i like inu so far but the idea is for sesshomaru to be with kagome. The problem with well strategized character and well written plot i suppose.

This is my favorite version of Inuyasha since I read A Willing Spirit, but...go he must!
