I'm probably the only one, but the flow of time is confusing. Are these flashbacks or the present? What’s the time frame of the letters? It's almost like two stories in one.

This story is so wonderful!! I'm glad to hear you're not dead, and that you've been busy with life, though of course not just because I am in love with your story! ;) You write both Sesshoumaru and Kagome so naturally and full of character, I adore how you're portraying the slow build, especially the mentions of Sesshoumaru's beast, which I'm a sucker for. I also love your worldbuilding, sometimes finding the balance between modern AUs that include youkai doesnt work out really well, but you've managed to create a world that's fascinating and original. The inclusion of Sesshoumaru's age and history along with his role in the modern world as a political force is brilliant, and your tribunal is a way of doing it that I've never seen before. The interaction with Rin is also gorgeous, you've done so great with her character, one that I think many struggle with. Good luck with all your future chapters! I can't wait to read them and I'm sure they'll be as fantastic as the ones you've already completed! Thank you for gifting us with this story, I can't wait to see where it goes! :)

What a sweet story! I cannot wait to read more! however did Kagome resist not petting Shippo's tails!!! I would have jumped them the moment I saw them! Oh i know it would have been rude, etc. but you have to admit, it would have take all I had to NOT touch those adorable tails!!!
